Gabler's Nursery

Before we scheduled an appointment, I told Mr. Gabler I was on a budget and wondered if he could give me a general idea of the cost of landscape design. He told me it would vary, but said if the job were not too large, he might write a plan on the spot and charge me fifty dollars. At the scheduled appointment, that is exactly what he did. He then told me he would finalize the plans and call with an estimate. When I called the office two weeks later, the lady who answered the phone said she ""would try to get him to call."" His company motto states he is the most professional and timely in the business, but the exact opposite proved to be true. Based on other reviews, I know Mr. Gabler is used to doing costly projects, but there is absolutely no excuse for his rude dismissal based on the assumption that this job would not be as profitable. more

Mr. Gabler sketched some preliminary plans for my yard and said he would call with an estimate, but two weeks passed without a word. When I called to ask about the delay, the lady who took the message said she "would try to get him to call you back." I live in a modest house, mentioned a budget, and said I was considering doing the work in stages. I have no doubt Mr. Gabler's rudeness stemmed from an unjust judgment that I would not be a profitable client. This business does not deserve to boast that "Our timeliness and professionalism set(s) us apart from anyone (else) in the business." more

John Gabler's family has been in the nursery business for over 75 years and it shows! The company completed a 10K project at our home and we couldn't be happier with the results! The service is fast, friendly and reliable. John's plant knowledge and plant quality is fantastic also! more

I have been to Gabler's Nursey on several occasions and I have been impressed each time. They have a wide selection of annuals, pernials, trees, landscaping tools, and bushes. The staff has always been more than willing to answer my questions and if they didn't know the answer, they went to someone who did know the answer. The prices are probably a tad high but the customer service aspect makes it worth while. They have given me specific instructions on how to care for the purchases. more
