A.C. not working 5/26/2016

The G.F. Bowman team was able to get to our house within a day of calling. Travis was very professional and friendly. The problem was a clogged air filter. He showed me what it was, and what I needed to purchase to change the filters in between their bi-annual maintenance visits. more

Very Satisfied With First Service Call from Bowman 5/17/2016

We recently moved to a home in Hershey, Pa., and we wanted a thorough check of the heating and air conditioning systems. Joe H. from G.F. Bowman came and checked out every system component first, then he did a test of how the furnace and the air conditioning unit worked when all systems were turned on. He took the time to explain how everything worked, much to our satisfaction because the house paperwork did not have any instruction manuals. He checked the filters and water lines, and told us how to get maximum efficiency from the systems. We think the time he spent with us was very worthwhile. He knew exactly how to troubleshoot the entire system. We like this kind of customer service--so much so that we signed up for the Bowman annual service/maintenance plan. We would recommend Bowman and Joe H. to homeowners. more

Great service rep 4/27/2016

Mike F was efficient, helpful and friendly. Our service stop required not only a semi-annual service on three systems, we also needed a new water heater. I couldn't have had a better serviceman for the job. more

Oil tank removal a success 3/30/2016

We had two old 275 oil tanks that needed to be removed due to old age. the workmen arrived on time and proceeded to remove the old tanks and then install a new tank. Some preliminary steps such as removing a hand rail and a door were done quickly and efficiently. The old tanks were removed without incident and the new one installed. the guys cleaned up the basement afterwards and cheerfully answered all questions. We are very happy with the work and would recommend Mike to others. more

Scheduled Maintenance Service 3/12/2016

Chris A. arrived to perform the annual preventative maintenance service on our HVAC system. As always, Chris was on time and performed the service in a very professional, courteous and efficient manner. He pointed out a capacitor that was getting weak and could have led to more expensive future problems. He replaced the capacitor right away and completed the rest of the service. We were very satisfied with the service and found the cost to be reasonable. We always recommend Bowman's to anyone needing their type of services. more

Service with a smile 2/25/2016

Having to call for service on a boiler can be a very expensive. But when the service company has employees like Dennis, it is much less painful. He really seems to enjoy his job. Does excellent work and leaves his work area clean. Thanks again G F Bowman. more

Service call by Mike F 2/22/2016

Mike was here to address an on-going issue with our oil furnace. We had continually smelled oil and there was some oil leaking from the furnace. Through 4 to 5 hours of maintenance the job was completed. Everything was looked at in detail and some parts were replaced (fuel pump and burner blower). Through the process Mike replaced 3 smoke 90's on the water heater. He did a very thorough job and was very professional and polite. Dave was here as well and he was also top- notch. They really wanted to solve this problem and asked to check in next week to look over their work. I was very pleased with this response to our problem. By the way Phil who was here most recently got the ball rolling in regard to the point that there should not be any oil leaking at all. He was the first service person to tell us that in the years we were dealing with the oil smell. Bottom line Mike,Dave and Phil were excellent! more

The Heat is ON! 1/18/2016

We woke up to no heat and called for repair. Jake was friendly and courteous as he diagnosed the problem and explained it clearly. The service was the best. The parts were located and installed and we have heat again, hooray! more
