Frenchtown has done at least 4 transmissions for me on different vehicles and have always given me the best price and the best service, always on time.

Worst

They kinda ripped me off when I went here. I thought that they would be a friendly neighborhood auto shop; but i was wrong. They Scratched my rim from my car and they over charged...

You pay for what you get. Took about three weeks to get our car back we still can't drive it. We went there for one problem and left wIth about four. The owner Brad is rude and doesn't care about his customers. Don't drop your car off and leave because if they mess up something they will write it on a piece of paper and say that it was like that when you dropped it off. more

best shop i ever dealt with 6/27/2009

we are extremely happy with the technicians at frenchtown transmission, have used them for years,allways give me an accurate estimate,that is below what the big name shops have ,and finished the work when they say it will be many times a day or two early.There should be more honest people in business like the crew at frenchtown transmission Pros: expert transmission repair Cons: none more

Frenchtown transmission service was excellent 1/27/2009

We are very happy about the job French town did on our van. They were quick with both the estimate an repair. The Quote was exactly what the job ended up costing. They were almost 1/2 the price of the dealership. more

Scratched wheel 10/31/2005

They kinda ripped me off when I went here. I thought that they would be a friendly neighborhood auto shop; but i was wrong. They Scratched my rim from my car and they over charged me on getting them mounted. PROS: Close to home CONS: Bad service. more
