they charged a fortune on my credit card, but then our shipment never came. when we asked why, it turned out that freight cornr had never paid the actual moving company!!! THE FURniture came after many phone calls, emails, and a month and a half of follow-ups. with all the problems we had between freight corner and the moving company, the moving company was kind enough to issue a refund check for the full amount! unfortunately, it had to be sent to freight corner, and now i am STILL waiting for my refund. so basically freight corner has my money, PLUS the moving company's refund! whenever i call the 1-800 or direct line numbers, it says the voice mail is full. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS COMPANY IS STILL IN BUSINESS??? more

Wow its funny how people will only write NEGATIVE things pertaining to an experience with a company rather than writing the good things! This company was AWESOME - I had issues with other freight brokers and these guys got the job done and at a great price too. VERY Professional I use them on a monthly basis now! Dont judge by what others write make things your OWN experience and then you CAN write a GOOD review. Pros: Great rates and WONDERFUL Customer Svc more

Freight Corner was a rip-off - I went through them for a table and chairs I purchased on eBay and the whole experience was hell, from start to finish. I just opened a claim with my credit card and I am crossing my fingers that I get my money back. Terrible. Cons: everything more

I sold some items off of e-bay and found Freight Corner online. They seemed the cheapest way to ship my items to the buyer...if it sounds too good to be true, it is, and I found out the hard way. They demanded that I pay for the shipping costs up front, which I did. About 3 weeks later, I got a letter from Vitran telling me that I owed them almost triple what I paid originally because Freight Corner didn't pay them for my shipment. I talked to a very nice guy at Vitran and he told that this was this was happening to a lot of people. He advised me to call my credit card company and dispute the payment, which I did, but now I can't get anyone to call me back from Freight Corner. The guy at Vitran said ""good luck trying to get them to call you back"" and sure enough he was right. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, IT'S A SCAM AND A FRAUD. I have since paid Vitran for the shipment which they were nice enough to make me only pay what the original shipment was for but I'm still out my $342.58 because Freight Corner scammed me. If this has happened to you, call a lawyer immediately. I contacted the Florida Attorney Generals office and the BBB to report them for the scum that they are. I used Freight Corner LLC as a broker for Pilor Air. When I got my furniture it was damaged. I was told I would have to go through Freight Corner, not Pilot Air for the claim. In December 2009 I filed the claim and Piolt settled the claim with Freight Corner. For two months Freight Corner told me that Pilot sent them the check and they would forward it to me. They never did to this day. I called Piolt and they stated that Freight Corner owes them over 2,000 dollars and they probably cashed my claim check and I will probably never see me claim check. This company never returns my calls and keeps telling me my check is in the mail. This company doesn't pay its carriers or customers. Cons: bad cutomer service. never received claim check more

I used Freight Corner LLC to broker a shipment of machinery from Chicago to Oakland, CA. It was, as advertised, remarkably cheap, and it worked. Until the Shipper, Vitran, sent me a bill for more than 3 times what I paid Freight Corner, threatening legal action. Seems Freight Corner just keeps the money and neglects paying the shippers they represent. Federal Transportation rules make it then my responsibility. A month of calls, emails, etc. to Freight Corner have gone unanswered, completely ignored. The person they direct you to has a full mail box (as you can imagine) so the problem is left for the order takers to solve, which they cannot. AVOID USING THIS COMPANY! Pros: CHEAP (BECAUSE THEY DO NOT PAY THEIR CARRIERS!) Cons: TAKE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT PAY CARRIER! more
