Halibut season started today, so we traipsed out before dawn to putt around Mutiny Bay off Whidbey Island. We had an ok diner/tavern style lunch at the Freeland Cafe in the little town of Freeland located on the southern half of the Island. But I'll tell you a secret: there was much better food at breakfast time over at Gerry's Cafe, but JB didn't have a listing for that establishment so I'm slipping it in the back way. Gerry's blintzes were awesome.
