I had to invest $800 dollars, into what I now call a great car!!!\r According to Ozzy and Sia I had gotten a great deal :S… 2 Days after I had bought my car, my battery started leaking inside my car and luckily I got my money reimbursed for this. However, when not even a week after, my engine started hesitating heavily I had to take it to (Airport Motors as it wasn’t safe to drive it all the way downtown. They changed two spark plugs (which were simply worn out) and a week after, the other 4 spark plugs broke down and if I wasn’t unlucky enough a few days later, my car stranded - all I could do was take it to Airport Motors again, and now my Fuel Pump had broken down.. All in all, after having visited Sia downtown SB.. he remained very friendly, but don t expect any service other than promising words! I bought my car for $5900 out the door, but little did I know about having to invest 800 dollars to finally driving it safely on the road..\r \r Had I taken my car to them for the repairs I would have saved money they argued, despite this I still was sold a crappy car – I think this is a weak argument, the repairs were needed regardless and on top of that they called them : Airport Motors, shady :S..., and hence didn’t feel obliged to help me financially – lame! I been to freedom motors and the mileage on these cars were accurate as posted at their website, you can see that for yourself, i had no problem with the cars and the service. more

***BEWARE OF ODOMETER FRAUD!!!*** A car advertised with 110,000 miles actually had more than 340,000 miles. 2002 Toyota Prius Hybrid License: 4YCW732 VIN: JT2BK18UX20059469 Google the VIN. If it's still available when you're reading this; it'll show his ad in April 2012 touting 110,000 miles (though I expect he'll take it down shortly) and another from Jan 2012 listing the same car at just over 342,000 miles. You can also get a free odometer check from CARFAX (google it) which will tell you about discrepancies in the mileage. Checking all 25 cars in their inventory, I found another with odometer fraud: 1995 Isuzu Trooper LS License: 3TQE417 VIN: JACDJ58V4S7916328 That makes nearly 10% of his cars with one particular type of problem. Best-case scenario, he didn't do it himself. That would mean that he gets his cars from shady people and he lacks the knowledge to notice a three-fold discrepancy in mileage. More likely, he's a willing participant in blatant fraud. Either way, you end up with the lemon. Also note their D rating from the BBB and the other bad review (with two suspiciously-good reviews, clustered in time [i.e., probably written by them]), so this sort of experience is common, if not the norm. Use common sense and avoid these criminals at all costs. more

It is so difficult to have a good experience while buying a car because car salesmen are soooo annoying but I am glad to say I had a fantastic experience at freedom motors and with ozzy. He doesn't act like a salesman trying to sell you anything at any cost. You feel like he cares and tries hard to make u happy. We knew we were buying an used car so of course we knew there would be little things here and there but overall the car we purchased is great and we are very pleased with it. Ozzy made sure all our concerns and questions were answered and we will keep referring friends to them. more

I had a great experience while shopping for my car. Ozzie the store manager was a great help. He is helpful, friendly and above all honest. I don't understand how some people can post negative reviews about them. They were very professional and caring with us. I have friends who bought cars from them and I went there because of their recommendations and I am glad I did. Thank you. more

I’m pressing charges against this thief, for assaulting me, harassment, and threating me; after he left a cheap pair of sunglasses on the car he sold and he doesn’t want to fix it. He spied me, came to my house and started making drama and disturbing my neighbors with all his yelling out loud. I called the police and got a report on this incident. I am taking Umut “Ozzy” Ozkan to court of law for taking advantage of me and sold me a car with a bad transmission. It is not fair that people dishonest like him is taking advantage of other people! \r more
