It is a steakhouse so definatly go for the Filet's or Prime Rib.. pasta specials are a must.. and the staff is what keeps us coming back for more! Pros: great specials Cons...

Went in on a Friday afternoon. They were out of half of the menu items. The place is more like an OLD tavern and probably has not been updated for 40 years! The food was horrib...

Frederick Inn Horrible 3/21/2008

Went in on a Friday afternoon. They were out of half of the menu items. The place is more like an OLD tavern and probably has not been updated for 40 years! The food was horrible and the Spinach salad that was reviewed as so good was one of the worst parts. It was drowned in Russian salad dressing. They said it came with Blue Cheese chunks which were really chopped up eggs! It is located in what is basically the heart of the St Joseph HOOD! On the upside the waitress was very pleasant and attentive. P.S. don't forget to lock your car doors and remember the Alkaseltzer!!! Pros: Easy to get a seat Cons: Everything except the service more

Wonderful Steak House 2/26/2008

Given the Beef Backer Hall of Fame Award, this is a sure bet for a good steak, prime rib, seafood and much more. Child's menu, carry out and catering and banquet facilities available. One of St. Joe's best. more
