After going to the fountains of wayne. located on rt.46 in wayne new jersey for many years to purchase our christmas decorations and to also enjoy the many animated displays on the second floor. Closed without notice to many of its life long patrons. An icon of christmas has been lost as was the same storie of the christmas ice caverns also on rt 46 in fairfield. another wonderful christmas store like the fountains of wayne. filled with fully decorated trees, lights and every thing you can think of or need for you christmas. Also a very lovable animated walk threw of many animated displays for children and adults alike. after a flood many of the diplays were ruined. they said they would open again and all the displays would be updated and either repaid or replaced. Sadly they never reopened the store as they were. some small shops moved in and sold some christmas items but no walk threw and only a faction of expensive items were there to see. two great holiday losses in a short time. Now where can we go to enjoy such splenders? After being threw many wonderful christmas stores, displays and wonders of christmas. If I was finacially capable. I would build another storein the place of fountains of wayne and create some of the most amazing displays ever seen for the holidays. One to be proud of and talked about for years to come.
