We stopped at this place (way out of our neighborhood) because it was across the street from the hospital and convenient. We noticed quite a few cars in the parking lot at 5:30 p on a weeknight, and figured it must be pretty good. The dining room was almost empty, so apparently everyone was in the bar (came to the conclusion it must serve good drinks - we didn't go into the bar). The food is the worst we've had in a restaurant in the 20 years we've lived in Portland. It's very cheap, the service is very good, it seems pretty clean, but the food is horrible. We both had combination plates, so tried 6 different entrees. They were all bland, tasteless - and I sent the braised spareribs back because they tasted really, really stale. We got out of there for $15.00 (including cokes) but didn't eat any of it.
Pros: nice people, no wait for a table, cheap
Cons: terrible food
