Fort Tranquil Sands Resort

WOW....IM WONDERING IF THE PEOPLE THAT WROTE THE LAST REVIEW EVEN STAYED @ THIS PLACE......Ive been to Tranquil sands twice now...and WE ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! The cabins are very nice and clean and are supplied with almost everything you need. there is so much to do....with two cities to choose from ....Caseville and Port Austin. Conoeing, horseback riding, golfing, putt putt, fishing, watching the sunset, playin on the beach, shopping ...we even seen a play! Everything is reasonably priced. There is a meat market across the street ....with awesome fresh meat ..if you like to grill! Ive been to alot of cabins in my day....and honestly this place is the nicest...with so much to do..we always hate to leave! We will definitely go there agian!!!! more

This ""resort"" is the farthest thing from a beautiful vacation as I have been to. It feels old and dingy and the owners are very creepy. One actually sleeps on the residence in his van. There is nothing to do in the surrounding area besides wade out from the grassy ""beach"" into painful rocks that cut your feet. Do not stay here; there are plenty of places to stay that are a thousand times nicer in the area. Pros: non Cons: see below more
