I have always had problems with my feet. On my right foot the toe next to the big toe overlaps my big toe. Sometime this summer I had to go to the foot doctor, because I had an infected ingrown toe nail. I chose Footwise Podiatry, because I had been there once before and the doctor was very friendly. I believe there are two doctors on staff but I chose Dr. David Gleitzman. He is still very friendly. The other things I like about this doctor is there is little to no wait time and he is very efficient. He moves around his office like the speed of lightning, but takes time to talk friendly to every patient.
With my problem, he tried everything he could do before he did an in office surgical procedure. I finally had to have the procedure done about two weeks ago. I am glad I did, because my foot feels better than it has in years. It is still in the healing process. Another thing I like about going to see Dr. Gleitzman is that his nurses are friendly. They will take your shoes and socks off if you can’t do it. Many elderly people and people with disabilities go there.
The two biggest bonuses for me are that they take WV Medicaid and my feet feel much better after I leave. They are always clipped and filed while I am there.
