I can't say I was too impressed with Florida State University. Everything seemed like a constant battle. Classes didn't have enough seats, parking was horrendous, professors were less than average, and the school seemed obsessed with milking the students for every dime. Now I realize that "all universities have these problems" but that's no excuse not to acknowledge them. In addition to the above, the campus is located in a questionable area of town and the city itself just not happening. Even worse, FSU has consistently earned a reputation as a party school and has a student body composed of several whose IQ's fall below their shoe size and you have to ask, "how did they get to college?". I see no point in going away to college just so you can binge drink and learn how to skirt your education. I'm far from the best student, but too much of something is definitely a bad thing. On the other hand, there are some excellent professors at FSU and some very gifted individuals in general. Living in the dorms and being apart of activities is an excellent way to meet alot of great people.
