Excellent Service 2/21/2010

I was referred to this spa by a friend who raved about a facial that she recieved from one of the estheticians (James). I must say that he was everything that she said and then some. I was greeted at the front with a smile and led to relaxing/serene room where the bed was heated. Before beginning the service, James took the time to find out what I was currently doing for my skin on a daily basis and not only gave me a thorough analysis of what he saw but walked me step by step of what to expect during the service. After floating away for an hour, I was awakened refreshed and renewed. I'm hooked and have found my new home. I look forward to my next facial with James!! Pros: relaxing environment, courteous and knowledgeable staff more

Float away... to mediocrity. 2/2/2010

Let me start by saying the staff is very friendly. Some, not so knowledgeable on the products for sale, as they had to repeatedly price check everything when I asked how much things cost. James, the esthetician, is very laid back and nice; however, he sort of bashed every product I said I used which wasn't Dermalogica. I understand you're trying to sell, but Dermalogica isn't the end all be all. As for the facial itself, it was lackluster. The bed was uncomfortable for my neck. The massage was really the nicest, and only relaxing part. I've been getting facials for six years, and this one was at the bottom of the list. I love how my skin looks after a facial, but my skin looked ruddy and stayed that way for two days after this one. You'll get a better facial at the Aveda school, and for the same price. I was really hoping to love this place. Oh, well. Pros: Friendly staff Cons: Only relaxing part of facial is the massage. more

Would not go back 1/20/2010

I had a massage here and although the price was great ($39 for 1 hour) my appointment was cut short by ten minutes. You definitely get what you pay for. My massage was nothing special and I did not feel rejuvinated and refreshed afterwards. My advice...pay the extra $30 and go to a real spa and get the most for your money. Pros: Good prices Cons: Lackluster massage more

awful 1/1/2010

in 40 years of my life never have seen anything so bad. massage was a joke. simply she moisturized my body. I had asked for deep tissue massage and during I reminded her that but she just would not do it. she started the massage 15 minutes late but ended it om time, so it was 45 min not 1 hour. then i went to the facial. this is another story: he basically did not put a mask on my face but he claimed he did. I will stop here since it is even more frustrating to write about this horrible experience. In the end the receptionist asked me how everything was I told her about it and she was nice enough to say she was sorry and she wanted to give me some discount or a coupon and said NO THANKS and left. Oh the receptionist also wanted to give me a coupon so I could have another 39 dollar massage and this is BS since 39 dollar is their fix price , not a first time promo. What a crap hole...wow Pros: nothing Cons: everything more

Serenity in Inman Park 11/25/2009

Float Spa in Inman Park is the best way to spend a staycation. I was very pleased with the great customer service from the moment that I entered to the end of my service. The facial that I received from James was one of the best ever. I totally recommend Float Spa for not only it’s great services and awesome staff, but for the affordability in a trying economy. Pros: Great location, service and prices. more

Great Massage and Facial! 11/24/2009

Starting with a deep tissue massage with Latissue was fantastic! What a great day spa! Beautiful inside and wonderful staff all around. So good in fact, I decided to join the membership for 6months. 59 dollars a month entitles you to one of any service, and amazing discounts as a member for anythng else. I decided to book the next day with James. What a true professional and all around gentleman. Very knowledgeable, and I have had many a facial. I had the hour and 1/2 facial and peel-for less than 60dollars! It was just as great as my massage. Do yourself a favor and book an appt. or get someone a gift certificate for the holidays! Even the owner introduced herself. Warm and friendly-a must visit in Inman Park! What a great addition! Thank you Float! Pros: Price and value of service Cons: none more

Awesome massage 8/23/2009

I actually did the $39 massage special and it was amazing. Its located in the Inman park area which for me was a bit difficult to find. Once i got there it was certainly worth it. Pros: Affordable, relaxing Cons: A little difficult to find more

Great Spa, Great Value 8/21/2009

I had a great massage at Float! The staff is very attentive. The spa isn't huge and commericialized. It is simple, classic, and focuses on the customer. I enjoyed every moment of it. Pros: Nice atmosphere, heated massage tables more

Heavenly!! 8/20/2009

As a weekend warrior I have been receiving deep tissue massage therapy for years. Anyone who's experienced that knows it's not always pleasant. But my recent visit to Float completely changed my attitude towards massages. I ordered what I call the "Float Cocktail" which is a combination of swedish, deep tissue, sports, neuromuscular and reflexology. Nasha (owner) has the BEST HANDS IN THE WORLD!! Now I know why they call it "Float" because that what I was doing when I got off the table. Heavenly!! Pros: Best hands in the world Cons: none more

I have had many massages around atlanta and I have now found the spa for me. And you can grab some tea or coffe at the cute coffee house next door. Highly recommend this place. Pros: Only $39 for massage adn it was awesome Cons: none more
