First Wok

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!! We got their flyer and decided to give them a try. OMG, what a terrible experience that was. First they delivered the WRONG item and what was supposed to be hot & spicy according to their menu, was bland and disgusting. Then, we called to ask them to please bring the correct items and they started to get condescending and rude but finally agreed. THEN, 15 minutes later, a Chinese woman calls and starts YELLING at us, telling US what she thought we ordered, and said WE have to BRING the food THERE to get an exchange!! (This was a delivery order, mind you). We just hung up on her as her yelling was plain ridiculous. Finally, we called first Wok again and they agreed to deliver the correct items but we were worried that those would be spit in or worse so we asked for a refund for both meals that were not as ordered or advertised. This whole back and forth went on for a good hour by the way after which they agreed to take off ONE meal of the charges and that was IT. VERY VERY poor customer service and terrible Chinese food! BE AWARE & DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE - Call Lucky Garden instead at 904-471-7282 as their food is 100 times better, (and nobody will YELL at you!) as they are accommodating and FRIENDLY too! more

The owners are directly from china and have over time made their business a well oiled machine. Food is fast, fresh and always satisfying. I would recommend dinner combination and the dumplings. Delivery usually takes 45mins and is always on time! I live far from them and they have never been late for a delivery or forgot any food! more

When living in the dorms, I'd had to resort to ordering out quite a bit. These guys never failed to disappoint, arriving half an hour later than they'd said, rarely bringing an entire order, forgetting rice, drinks, utensils, or entire entrées. Thanks to the very similar sounding names of Chinese restaurants, we'd occasionally forget who we'd had the bad experience with and try them again. We were quickly reminded. I gave them one more shot more recently and they remembered my entire order, including a huge staple in the spare ribs. more
