Tasty, Clean and Affordable 3/22/2010

Firehook is a great palce to grab a a bagel or baked good in the am hours and a fantastic place for a cookie and a sandwich in teh afternoon, but only if you can by chance miss the masses that flock to this deli favorite in the Conneticut Ave area. Pros: Clean, quick and tasty Cons: Crowded during teh lunch and coffee rushes of the work day more

So good muffins and pastries 9/7/2009

Didn't want to wait in the long line at Cosi, and Starbucks is sooo commercial, and overpriced. We were overjoyed when we found Firehook Bakery on a recent visit to Dupont Circle-- it's located halfway between the two other coffee shops. Great blueberry muffins, scones, croissants, etc. and excellent coffee of course. Fresh baked everything, and really fairly priced. Pros: Great baked goods, fast coffee Cons: tucked away a bit more
