LIke it says, it's a Fiesta 6/21/2010

I used to love this place but I've been disappointed by the service as of late. They seem to try to serve you well but their best try is usually at best mediocre. The food is always great (better than most Tex-Mex establishments) but maybe a bit lacking on the portions. I believe that the best part about Fiesta is the ambiance. It is very fitting and cozy. While you're there you feel like you can relax after a long day at work and have fun. Of course there are roving mariachi's waiting to serenade you. On the few nice days that Houston has between what passes for winter and the beginning of an almost year long summer there is a nice little patio to eat on. The only problem I have had was recently when I and some friends went for happy hour. The prices for the drinks were not happy hour prices. A small regular margarita for almost $6? Not very strong either. Good thing the food tasted great or it would have been a total loss. Pros: Great ambiance Cons: Portions more

Awesome place for a TexMex Fix 1/2/2009

We've only been once so far, but will be going back soon! I ordered the chicken mole, and LOVED it! The huge parking lot was filling quickly, but we had no problem getting a spot. The place looked packed, but it was huge, and we were seated promptly...within a minute or two. Waitress was very nice, and took great care of us. Margaritas were great. Food came fast, and the chicken mole was awesome!! The price was hard to beat as well...we'll for sure be going back soon, when we need a serious tex-mex fix. The place is pretty big, but it's divided up into smaller rooms so you don't feel like you're in a huge chow hall like the chain Mexican restaurants, althought it was still pretty loud inside. No big deal...you expect a busy place to be that noisy. Pros: Great food, great price. Cons: High noise level. more

Houstons BEST Margaritas! 1/2/2008

If you have not come here you must! The peach maragaritas are to die for and the fajitas for one is enough for two people! The salsa is delish! And if you go on fri or sat they have a live band just ask to be seated in the back rooms after 9pm. I have to rave again about the margaritas. if you get the large ones 2 will be more then enough...they use fresh fruit and some pretty good tequila. This place is a must! Pros: MARGARITAS! food portions, parking Cons: the area isnt the best more

Great food and Best Margaritas 5/24/2007

I love this place. I find myself going here twice a week sometimes. The margaritas are so smooth and good. You really need just one, but you can't help but want another. In my opinion, The best margaritas! The food is great. I have tried several different dishes and they have all pleased me. The waitstaff is great also. They are always attentive as if we are the only ones in the restaurant. On Fridays and Saturdays they have a DJ or a live band that plays a mixture of music. It is a lot of fun. If you go, I can pretty much gaurantee you will want to go back. more

awesome food! 8/9/2006

First off, the food is awesome. Mind you not the best, but it's up there. The service is reasonable, depending on how many people are in the restaurant. If it is packed, expect to be there up to 2 hours minimum. Which the food is definitely worth the wait. The prices are also reasonable, not exceptional, but the normal price you would pay at any other mexican restaurant. The only, and I do mean one and only problem, I have with the place is you will leave there smelling like onions. The smell is great while you're there, but as soon as you walk out, it's stuck to your clothes. So, if you are not an onion person, you better not go here. If it doesn't bother you, then by all means go time and time again! Pros: food Cons: parking more

This place has great food and some great margaritas. I love the mariachi even though it can be a bit loud at times. The only thing that I can complain about is the parking, so the best time to go would be around 9:00pm on a friday or saturday because the place gets packed around 10:00. Pros: food, margaritas Cons: parking more

Muy sabroso! 3/14/2003

Best time to go is Friday night about 8 p.m. They have a mariachi band, although it's sometimes a little loud. For some reason, the food tastes better on Friday nights than other days. Salsa is okay, not great, but their dishes are usually very good. Our favorites - shredded beef gordita & shredded beef flautas. The green mole is superb. Good service, cheerful atmosphere. Parking can be a little challenging, but well worth it. Usually very prompt seating. Pros: Reasonable prices, Tasty food, Prompt service Cons: Parking, Loud mariachi band, Patio never used? more

Best margarita in town! 8/26/2002

By all means this restaraunt serves the best margarita in Houston more

GREAT FOOD + DRINKS 8/9/2002

My girlfriend has a very discriminating taste when it comes to Mexican food. Seldom is the time when she actually likes a restaurant's fajitas, but she claims that Guadalajara's are just like the ones her dad makes. I have to agree!!! Anyway I have to agree with the previous post on the margaritas packing a punch. On several occasions, I've made a fool of myself in the restaurant thanks to a couple of margaritas. But hey I had a great time! Pros: price, food, drinks more
