Worst

I am disgusted by the treatment I received from Dr horwitz. all he cares about is money, not your feet. his office is a cash cow and revolves around the money he can make from you...

Highly recommend! 7/10/2012

I totally recommend dr. Horwitz AND his staff and I have to family and friends who have used his office and have had great results and experience! I have had foot surgeries on both feet with great results. He was always there. He and his staff are very caring and help and discuss and listen to any problems. They give you alternatives before having to go and have surgery. He also gets you out of the waiting room and into exam room fairly quickly. I highly recommend Dr Horwitz. He's always been there, listened, and fixed my feet. I am grateful for that. I can now hang with my kiddos, do tae kwon do with my son, and walk without pain. Please go see him, you won't regret it! more

Horrible Experience 3/25/2012

I am disgusted by the treatment I received from Dr horwitz. all he cares about is money, not your feet. his office is a cash cow and revolves around the money he can make from your insurance. He is a horrible doctor and definitely did not understand the Hippocratic oath when he took it become a dr.he is completely the most unethical dr i have ever come into contact with. i DO NOT recommend him to anyone. not even my worst enemy. there are far better doctors in st louis esp with SLU and WASH U physicians. he DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOUR FEET ONLY MONEY. he only sees GREEN not FEET. DISGUSTING more

New Man 1/31/2012

I was miserable when I started seeing Dr. Horwitz. When I got out of bed or played golf, my feet hurt so bad. The only relief I could get was to stick my feet in a bucket of ice until they were almost numb! After one visit to Dr. Horwitz I started feeling better and a lot of the pain subsided. After two visits I had went from a pain level of 9 to a pain level of 3. Dr. Horwitz worked wonders for me and his whole staff did everything they could to help and make my office visit bearable! If I have any future problems, I wouldn't go anywhere else! more

Feet for Life Podiatry Center in University City 1/15/2007

There are several podiatrists that work at this location, but our favorite by far is Dr. Horwitz. He is the founder of Feet for Life and has performed the needed surgeries on my child. When you walk in to the building, you will note that the reception area is clean and filled with reading material for your wait. Most of the time the wait is 5 minutes or less after the scheduled appointment time to be moved to an exam room. However, we have waited as much as 40 minutes in the waiting room, with no explanation as for the wait. (We didn’t see Dr. H. on the visit.) Another cool thing in the reception area is the Shaq memorabilia. There is an autographed shoe, a photo and a certificate of authenticity. Once into an exam room, you are given the initial evaluation by a nurse/tech. Then you wait for the doctor. Sometimes it is only a few minutes, and sometimes the wait is lengthier. Procedures are explained in detail. Questions are answered. I have never felt as though I was being talked down to or that I had asked a silly question. The whole experience is typically quite comfortable. My family has had several visits to Feet for Life for more routine things as well as surgery. We have been for the most part happy with our results. The only real negative is the exam room layout. There seems to be an older portion of the building where the layout is more open, that is, you have to walk through a huge open patient area to get to other exam rooms, and people having treatments in these areas have no privacy. We prefer the new exams rooms where you don’t have to share an area with other patients or walk past other patients receiving treatment. I like Feet for Life enough to recommend it to others. more
