Fearrington is okay 3/18/2006

We ate at Fearrington once and I honestly didn't see what the fuss was about. We did have attentive service and the food was good, but the prices were too high to lure me back. My husband loved the fois gras, and I enjoyed the fillet mignon. This is a nice place to celebrate a special occasion, but in my opinion, it didn't live up to the hype. more

A 5 star restaurant in our own backyard. 8/6/2005

Fearrington House is a part of the Relais and Chateaux line of Bed and Breakfasts and Restaurants. We've been three times, and each time the meal has been delicious, meticulously presented, and a true pleasure to consume. We even took our daughters for their first time out to a really nice restaurant last time, and they offered a lovely set of choices for the children, and the presentation of pasta was truly something to see! more
