When I wanted to get pregnant, i am a big research buff, I check out what other people say, compare online etc. Well I wanted someone that wouldn't rush me into the OR for a C-Section and let my body do it's thing so that we could have our healthy little bundle as natural as possible. The Family Nurse Midwives Gretchen Cohen and Sandy Mauro were absolutley wonderful, they offered advice every step of the way, called me back within two hours so that I could get the answers to my questions, and also told me countless home remedies that I could use to solve my little pregnancy nags.
When I went in for checkups, they were always warm and welcoming, and spent ample time with my husband and I, not rushing us out the door. They answered all of our questions and more than anything I felt like they knew what they were doing because they both have childrne of their own so they knew what I was going to be going through!
I have heard other people say that their doctors were more cold and unkind but these two wonderful ladies are well worth it.
We did have our daughter last october and although I had to have a C-Section they were still there for the birth, and very helpful with everything.
