Really cool place fun atmosphere 4/10/2008

The hooka was good once it got started but on a busy night its really hard to get some coals to keep the hooka going. So i was disappointed with that. The seating was comfortable, great place to dance great music. Servers were great people, just took very long to get served. Great place to meet people or have a happy hour or hang out after work. I met a group of people there and were still in touch! Pros: Great place to hang out at. Cons: They need more servers, took a very long time to get served. more

The hooka was good once it got started but on a busy night its really hard to get some coals to keep the hooka going. So i was disappointed with that. The seating was comfortable, great place to dance great music. Servers were great people, just took very long to get served. Great place to meet people or have a happy hour or hang out after work. Horrible venue and bad customer service 12/16/2007

Basically I had a party for a friend here with about 25 people in the back. The management promised us all kinds of special deals and discounts because we were bringing in so many people. Nothing of the sort happened. Not only were we charged full price for every single item (250 a bottle) but none of the special deals they promised were delivered. Plus the management said that no one from our party would have to pay a cover and it turns out that they don't even have a cover charge! Cons: Overpriced bottle service, cheap ikea furniture, pushy and impolite staff, corroded wood floors, tiny and very dirty bathrooms, etc. more

I had a party there with bottle service. The management promised all sorts of special deals and discounts gallore. Of course upon receiving the bill this was not the case. For a few hooka's and bottles of vodka they cahrged us $2500!!! Half of the things on the bill were never even ordered and we got nothing "on the house" as they promised. The owners are very shady and I would never in my life go there again. Besides all that, the place is a dump, the floors are corroding wood, the mens bathroom did not have a toilet, I mean come on! it was just disgusting. Oh and then they told us, not to worry because no one from our party would have to pay a cover charge, well it turns out there was not even a cover charge for anyone that night! Some great deal we got. Terrible. more

Worst place on Bleecker St., Smelled absolutely horrid inside! 10/20/2007

The first thing you notice is that the bouncers are total jerks. I strongly suspect they are anti-Semitic based on something the said in a foreign language as I walked in. They thought I didn't know, but I was 2 steps ahead of them. When you arrive inside, immediately it smells like somebody threw up and they never cleaned it up. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only people you'd find here are pretentious losers and underage girls, so this is not a place for those with class. End of story. Pros: Can't think of any. It is on Bleecker though Cons: EVERYTHING: Smell, quality of people more

The best nightspot in the immediate area 9/15/2007

I used to go to Falucka about 4-5 years ago when I was in school. 2 weeks ago a friend of mine decided to check it out to see what the scene was like. I'm glad we did because this place was nothing but FUN, FUN, and FUN. Yes, there are many other places in the city that are better than Falucka but for this neighborhood this is the best place to go to. The music (hip hop, arabic, house, dance) and crowd was very good and everyone in there was having a blast. My friend and I winded up dancing the whole night and we loved the music. Our bartended (a cute blonde maybe Russian girl) knew how to make drinks and was making them a little on the strong side - just the way I like it. But, there are two problems with this place. #1 It is small and gets very crowded. #2 the bathrooms are the size of airplane bathrooms. I can say that the pros outweigh the cons and this place is definitely worth checking out. more

Great hookah bar/lounge! 8/14/2007

What a great place to getaway from the usual bars&lounges! The service here was great. We went on a weekday and at about 11:30 the place started to get packed. I'm actually a tourist and have been to other hookah bars in California & this one is great! The drinks, are excellent, too! Order their mojito!! On top of it all, the music is AMAZING! Pros: Good drinks, great music, and friendly service Cons: Hookah is $35, and there is only opne flavor (double apple) more

What a great place to getaway from the usual bars&lounges! The service here was great. We went on a weekday and at about 11:30 the place started to get packed. I'm actually a tourist and have been to other hookah bars in California & this one is great! The drinks, are excellent, too! Order their mojito!! On top of it all, the music is AMAZING! RECOMMENDED!!! We had a great time and plan on returning in a few days. Note: There isnt a sign for the place outside except for "162" so just look for the address. Pros: Good drinks, great music, and friendly service Cons: Hookah is $35, and there is only opne flavor (double apple) more

i went here recently and this place is horrible. when we got inside, the place was packed! waitresses and other employees there were so rude. It took almost 15 min to grab the attention of our waitress. She looked like she hadnt slept in days. Another bad thing there is only 2bathrooms so you have to wait at least 20 minutes to go to the bathroom each time. i would avoid this place and go to any of the other cooler bars on the street. more

Not a great experience 7/16/2007

I had been meaning to go to Falucka for a while because of the music. We finally went on Friday and aside from the music everything else was pretty bad. After a little bit of expected door drama we went in and it was a weird mix of people which we didn't expect to see. It was way too crowded and there is no dance floor as such. The music was great but the service was not at all. The bartender was rude and put an extra $30 tip on my card without me being aware. I put down $5 on my $30 tab for 3 drinks and I just saw my statement and it is showing $65! If you have to go for the music, I say go to Le Souk instead but please do not use your card at the bar at either place and be prepared for a very crowded experience. more
