Best

A wonderful oasis for fans of the "original" football. These lads will open the pub at 6AM if the weekends' fixtures call for it! Supporters of all clubs are welcome, but get read...

Worst

Over the years I have been to Fado's on many an occasion, and for the most part have had a great time, however.. i think management MUST have changed! Simply put, they are wateri...

Nice Atmosphere 3/16/2006

Fado's has a great atmosphere, it makes you feel like your actually in Ireland. The service is good and the bands that play are great too. I would recommend it if your going out to party but if your looking for something relaxing you'll have to hit it before 10:00. 2 thumbs up! more

Laid Back 12/26/2005

I love this place....drink and be merry! You can actually hang out here with friends and not have to worry about it being such a meat market! Friendly staff. Pros: atmosphere, staff, laid back more

Not a fan of fourth street, but... 3/19/2005

I am not a huge fan of fourth street. Most places are pretentious, and expensive. Fado is very laid back with intimate seeting inside and a great patio outdoors. more

Irish to the kilt 3/10/2005

Or is it the Scottish that wear kilts? Anyway, this place is great. Apparently, all the decorations were brought in from Ireland. Sometimes it's a bit hard to get a drink because of people crowding the bar, but the patio seems to be better for that. more

Fado is Gaelic meaning 'long ago'. At Fado we are telling the tale of Ireland's rich and celebrated Pub culture - a culture of hearty food and drink, good music, warm hospitality and friendly banter

Editorial
  • In Short
During the day, Fado hosts quiet sippers and diners; at night, it's packed with cheery students, professionals and Irish expats, all with tongues loosened by free-flowing Hibernian beverages. The pipes of Shane, Elvis and Van are sometimes replaced by live musicians. There's Guinness on tap, plus Bass Ale, Murphy's Irish Amber and Boddington's Pub Ale. For hard drinkers, there's always Jameson Irish whiskey. The extensive menu includes classic fish-and-chips and baked Brie in phyllo pastry.
