DO NOT USE THIS FUNERAL HOME they only want your money. Took 15 days to get back our mothers ashes and we didn't know where they kept her for the entire time they had her. Their lack of sympathy made things even worse. Who wants to know that their loved one will be in a cooler and then a storage facility. The funeral directer Vickie Roper said it would cost 305.00 to see her the way she was just hours after she died. Vickie said that there was things that had to be done. We weren't asking for our mother to be embalmed. We filed a complaint with Wa State DOL Dennis McPhee and they now have 20 days to reply. We even contacted the media and you can go to KATU CHANEL 2 NEWS PORTLAND OREGON. more

BEWARE this funeral home only wants your money! It took 15 Days to get our mothers remains. They even moved her before we could veiw her to Portland to what they said was their sister facility. They DO NOT have a sister facility said Wa State DOL. We have been reaching out to our community. We want ppl to know what happened. If you have had problems go to the Wa State DOL and make a complaint like we did. You can also watch our family on the news reporting this story to our community. Caring Staff, Beautiful and Reasonable Prices 1/27/2009

I have been in customer service for many years and never have I found a more polished and friendly group of people. We found that they were very caring during such a difficult time for our family. Every request was performed with such precise detail. I also found after calling other funeral homes, Evergreen Memorial Gardens was very reasonably priced and they were upfront with all of their charges. Never were there any hidden fees they didn't disclose. I would recommend Evergreen Memorial Gardens to anyone who has lost a loved one. more

Lack of respect brought the rating down, not the end result. 10/26/2008

I ended up here after my girlfriend passed away. Her mom had to setup all the funeral stuff along with the cremation. Obviously, nobody was in a great mood... Pros: They got the job done. Cons: Unintentionally disrespectful. more
