Evans Tire & Service Centers

The first time I went to Evan's Tire was for a patch. I was pretty amazed when they patched the tire for free! I had never been there before.\r \r So when I needed tires, I went back to them. I did have to wait about 3 1/2 hours for 4 tires and an alignment, which seemed a bit excessive, but in my experience, this seems to be normal. One of the issues causing the wait was the mechanic was late getting to work. He showed up at 8:30 instead of 8, which is when I arrived. They also didn't have the tires I wanted, so they had to drive downtown to get them. more

I brought in my car to simply replace 4 tires. I was the second person to arrive at the shop and have my ticket written so I waited for it because I was told it would only take an hour to two to replace the tires. It took almost four hours. A couple of customers that arrived almost an hour after I did were gone before I was. Everytime I asked what was going on with my car the guy at counter appologized and said it wouldn't be long. I later found out that me and a couple of other customers were bumped and made to wait because there was a big customer (dealership I think) that brought them some business. I was furious, I demanded to have my car returned but they said they couldn't because they had already removed the tires and were waiting for the new ones to arrive. The tires were finally replaced after I complained so much but when I got home I saw that one of the lug nuts was missing and when I inspected the other wheels there were three other loose nuts on the other tires.
