Etched In Skin

Got my very first tattoo done here and it turned out great! She did an awesome job bringing the image that I had imagined into this beautiful tattoo. The detail is much better than what I had expected and she managed to take the baby footprints I had on paper and give me almost an exact replica in my tattoo. I love it! The experience was great too she kept me entertained and before I knew it she was done! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some great work done. more

My sister went to Etched in skin as did a friend and my 2 nephews, and they left completely satisfied with their tattoos. I was in the chair ready for my first tattoo and Michelle noticed a skin rash on my arm from a cleaning product i was allergic to. She did not do my tattoo for fear that I would have a further reaction to the ink. She even offered to refund my deposit which I did not take because she already did work on my stencil. In my opinion Michelle is a very straight shooting person and some people may be intimidated by that. Other artists could have gone on with the tattoo but Michelle did the right thing. more

Im just going to write a constructive review here thank you...I have many tattoos and recently went to Michelle to get my best work done yet..Listen from the moment I got there and to the moment my work was completed which was a 12 hour piece, It was nothing but professional and the end result was something that went beyond what I thought was going to come from it. Michelles work with colors is unmatched and the compliments I get on her work is great and sincere. You can have a great looking piece of art or idea but it takes an artist to bring it to life on your skin and she flawlessly did that for me..I will never go anywhere else and Im sorry I never went to her sooner for my earlier works. Thank you Michelle and Scary MARY! A shout out to a professional piercer! So go people...believe the hype when you get your work done not from these people commenting because It doesnt capture just how great Michelles work is from an artistic point of view. more

I don?t believe how others can criticize someone?s personal opinion and defend a true incident that took place at Etched in Skin when they were not even PRESENT at the time this happened and turn it into some kind of fabrication upon the individual who was actually the wrong here?..These websites and review boards are for the customers perspective not the owners of business trying to defend themselves for there ?actions? which show?s there immaturity and unprofessionalism which they should know how to control because they are ?business owners??.AGIAN? all someone did was ?write a review? about a company or business about there incident at that place?.not an attack or false comment?.so for people who comment about how wonderful Michelle is don?t worry about my comments or anyone else?s comments because again that doesn?t make us idiots it make?s you the idiot for invading someone?s First Amendment right which I guess I?ll have to write down the definition because people need to brush up on there constitution-The first amendment right protects the freedom of religion and the freedom of expression/SPEECH!!! My first tattoo 9 years ago was by Michelle at Etched in skin. It was a tiny heart tattoo and I was scared to death but knew I wanted lots of tattoos. Michelle was the PERFECT artist for a first tattoo. She was insanely clean, VERY descriptive to what she was going to do, and how she was going to do it and what it was going to feel like. She didn't sugar coat anything but she put me at ease as to what to expect. Last Friday I received my 9th tattoo from Michelle and she has done 90% of all of my 25+ tattoo hours experienced. I do not live in the area, but I will travel a state away for Michelle. I have taken friends, co-workers and family members to Michelle and NO ONE has ever walked away disappointed or with a bad experience. My aunt and cousins only give each other gift certificates on our birthdays and Christmas from Etched in Skin, and then always book our tattoos at the same time. THIS IS MY COMMENT BACK TO THE IMMATURE "TATTOO-ARTIST" WHO OBVIOUSLY HAS NO CUSTOMERS B/C SHE HAS ALL THIS TIME ON THE COMPUTER....HOPEFULLY EVERYONE READ AND BELEIVED MY COMMENT I POSTED B/C IT IS THE TRUTH AND NOW THAT EVERYONE CAN SEE HOW "CHILDISH" YOU REALLY ARE....I BELIEVE THEY WOULDN'T WANT A TATOO FROM A PERSON LIKE THAT OR AT LEAST I WOULD HOPE SO...I've posted comments about every place I've ever encountered an unprofessional place or person under many "member names" not just chica123" ....not that I have to explain myself but the point of my comment regarding "Etched In Skin" was just to pre-warn other possible customers of the type of person you will encounter when you are going to get your tattoo...for many young first time nieve tattoo customers and there parents I would NOT recommend going to this place....Just my personal opinion WHICH I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO EXPRESS!So again this is the only reason i posted this comment not to start any "drama" but just for the other customers to be aware of the people there I wish someone pre-warned me before I went there for my first tattoo...hopefully you Michelle will take my advice as a customer and respect my opinion so just learn how to take criticism and respect people's freedom of speech.I also hope you took that incident as a learning experience because I sure did and I hope you never treat another customer like you did to me and my sister that day.......(ALSO I WILL NOT TAKE DOWN MY COMMENT) I will also not be posting comments back and forth like a child...so if you decide to comment back I will NOT I actually have WORK and Customers I have to attend too...AGAIN I WILL NOT REMOVE MY COMMENT.... more

I went to Michelle 2 years ago...she did a great job on my tattoos....I recently went with my sister to get her first tattoo and she completly overpriced my sister...After going to get the refund back we were both verbally assaulted by her and her "receptionist" with profanity...Michelle literally walked out of the store to verbal assault me in my car with my 4 year old there...SHE IS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND I'M WRITING THIS TO PRE-WARN ANYONE WHO GOES THERE NOT TO QUESTION HER PRICING OR ASK FOR A REFUND B/C YOU WILL GET YOUR FACE CHEWED OFF FROM A CRAZY PERSON....I NEVER FELT ASSAULTED IN THE WAY I DID THAT DAY EVEN MY SISTER WAS READY TO CRY I ONLY REGRET I DIDN'T CALL THE POLICE B/C IT WAS THAT BAD....I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE...ALSO DON'T LET A FIRST-TIME CUSTOMER GO THERE BY THEMSELF B/C SHE WILL OVERPRICE THEM ASWELL....ALL THIS WAS DONE IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS WHO EVEN LOOKED LIKE THEY WANTED TO LEAVE ASWELL...ANGER-MANAGEMENT IS THE ANSWER MICHELLE!!!! more

I've gotten several tattoo's throughout my life but none can compare to the one's I received form Etched in Skin. It's appointment only meaning I'm not at a tattoo assembly line. She was even able to cover up my past mistakes. Now I can wear short sleaves and not be ashamed! By far the most detailed and colorful! I'm going back in 2 weeks! more
