Terrible customer service - seemingly racist. Stay away! 12/1/2010

My wife and I went to visit this store today. We walked in and no one greeted us or even came over to ask us what we wanted, even though there were 2 people standing right there and there were no other customers! When we asked for the price of a watch, they didn't seem like they wanted to assist us. They didn't even offer us to look at it or try it out. It was obvious that they wanted us to leave and didn't want us to buy anything. They never asked us what we were looking for or suggest options, like most other reputed jewelers do. It was very clear that they didn't want our business and I can only attribute this to them being racist. We were very uncomfortable being there - they really made us feel unwelcome! So we left but before leaving, we politely told them that we were very unhappy with their lack of service and their response was - ""this is how we are!"" Basically, that translates to - ""leave"". I will never walk into this store again. They do not deserve our business and I suggest and strongly encourage others to stay away from these guys too. There are other stores out there who are cheaper and who really want to earn your business. Please do not trust these guys - because they judge you based on your color! Disgusting! more

Great Servie & Deals!! 8/18/2010

I bought my wife?s engagement ring from Peter. I had found what I was looking for at another big name jeweler and went to see Peter to see what he had available and to my surprise he was able to build the same ring for a lot less with a LARGER diamond. Before making a purchase of this size at least stop by and see what can they can do for you! more

Poor repair service?? 6/18/2010

Even though I paid 550 bucks for repairing my Omega watch, they failed to reassemble my watch and made a big scratch on my watch. Rather, I were suspected of it and they shifted the responsibility for the failure onto me. Also, they are not keeping the promise to refund. Do not trust them.? Cons: Expensive, unskillful more

Honesty and Excellent Service 12/21/2009

I found an Omega watch that looked like my fathers'. Peter arranged the purchase. He Fedexed the watch and I received it in 48 hours. It was better than the internet photographs. Very friendly to deal with and elegant atmosphere, beautiful selection of Rolex and Cartier watches.They also have vintage pieces.not to mention the amazing collection of diamonds and other fine colored stone jewelry. I purchased a watch online from Ermitage and the experience was just excellent. Friendly accommodating service, extremely knowledgeable about their products and fair and reasonable prices. Can't ask for much more. It's nice to buy something and feel as if you have not only got exactly what you wanted but also feel that you've found a place that you can go back to. My husband and I recently celebrated our 50th anniversary. We wanted to buy each other a gold Rolex watch, but we couldn't afford the retail prices on new Rolex watches. We seached the internet to find a jeweler that sold pre-owned Rolex watches. After reviewing several sites, we decided to take a trip to Atlanta to check out Ermitage Jewelry store. We both were so very impressed with the store and owner, Peter. He took the time to go over the history of the watches we were interested in. We could tell that Peter was very knowledgable in Rolex watches and very helpful. We purhased a ladies Rolex watch that day, and we asked if he would seach for a Rolex GMT Master for my husband. In about three weeks, Peter called to let us know he had the watch we wanted. We arranged to have the watch shipped to us. Our experience was wonderful and we are very happen with the service that we received. The owners are very honest and we would highly recommend Ermitage Jewelers to anyone wanting an excellent price on a pre-owned Rolex watch. Pros: Very knowledgeable, Helpful and Honest more

Great Jewelers and Outstanding Service 5/26/2008

We went in Ermitage Jewelers to get an appraisal on an Emerald necklace we bought on a trip but we left the store feeling like we had found a Jewelry Store that we can trust with an old family piece or a new piece that we wanted designed. We were so please with the store that we bought my wife's Rolex watch from Ermitage and have been very pleased with the service. They have been very helpful and are always willing to answer any of our questions. Pros: Customer Service, Good Prices more

I bought a very nice watch from this group at a very reasonable price. These folks certainly know how to treat a customer. I will definitely go back for future purchases for myself and my wife. They are knowledgeable, friendly and they help you take the time to choose the right piece for you. Go there first, then see what your can get for the same price at the larger stores. more

What a great history, the owner Pete and Jake have. Going back to the beginning with their grandfather in Russia. Their custom jewelry creations are outstanding. Take your idea to them, and they will create a reality. Many other jewelers around the city bring bench-work to them. You will really save alot of time on your custom creations. They have an abundance of quality stones. And the craftsman ship is perfect. They service Rolex's, Cartier, and have one of the largest selections of pre-owned watches in the Southeast. I do not write the reviews often. Even being a frequent ebayer never got me into writing spirit. So I consider this rather an exception to describe my experience with Ermitage. I have always been a great fan of Rolex brand. Who isn?t? I think Rolexes are the best made and most beautiful watches in the world. But having a good taste does not necessary place me in a category of wealthy crowd. I am the one who always look for a great deal and reliable. That is why ebay always the first place I normally look before making any decision. I was pleasantly surprised that prices Ermitage were offering for my Rolex model could not be even beaten by ebay. Having spent some time in this store, I came to know both owners, Peter and Jake. First thing that struck me is their passion and dedication to their business and recognizing the value of the customer service that can not be easily found these days. Secondly, their prices and inventory were more than fit my bill. Lastly and perhaps more importantly I received the best education and advice to purchase the Rolex I truly love. I can?t say enough to express my deep appreciation of Ermitage and their owners. If you are looking for a new or used watch, check them out before buying from anyone else. Best customer service I have ever experienced 12/27/2006

I came in not knowing anything about Rolex watches other than the fact that mine was broken. Previously I had paid double the money for a big-name Jeweler. I saw Ermitage Jewelers through Google and gave them a shot since they are just down the street. First off, the store has this European charm to it- beautiful walls and displays. I was greeted warmly by Peter and Jake, the owners of the store who immediately helped me out. Jake, the watchmaster, took the time to explain to me not only what was wrong with my watch but how he would fix it in just a week! Im so happy with it, and have since bought 2 more peices. I really feel like I finally found a jeweler I can trust. High recommended for Rolex and custom made peices! Pros: Customization, Customer Service, Experience, Professionalism, Value Cons: Not open past 6pm more
