Great Mexican Food at a Great Price! 10/8/2005

I love this restaurant, they make a great chicken taco salad in a shell bowl. The chicken is cooked fresh and is low in calories in you are watching your weight. They also have wonderful red sauce which is always freshly made, with all the chips you can eat. The cheese dip is the white kind that is very creamy and tastes great. The lunch specials are very reasonable in pricing and you get a big selection of lunch specials to choose from. I love the tacos, taco salads, cheese dips, and red sauce. Great choice for Mexican Food! more

Outdoors is very nice 8/21/2005

El Porton has some of the best Mexican food in Little Rock. The crowd can kind of get noisy inside but there are a few seats outside where you can enjoy the cool night air and share a margarita for you. To start you must try the queso, it’s the best in town. The meals are fairly priced and the desserts are great too. I would recommend the pork rellenos to new comers, they are the best thing on the menu. more

not bad mexican 8/11/2005

El Porton seems to continue to do well year after year. It remains conveniently located in the Rock Creek Shopping center near Hobby Lobby. The food is reliable and service is decent. The restaurant gets fairly busy on weekends. They serve numerous domestic and mexican beers. The salsa is not the best in town. more
