Worst

All reviews seem positive

Needs help. 3/19/2007

Not sure how this place got a 9. The place is old and thats ok but a little up-keep would help. Nothing is worse then getting a menue that has food stains in it. Both my wife and I had food stains all over the menues. The salsa had little to not taste and was a big let down after reading the other reviews. At best I would say the meal was Average. Nothing to make me want to go back. more

Great Food 5/8/2006

I love this restaurant. My family and I have been eating here for years. The green chili is excellent and can be ordered with or without pork. Unlike some Mexican food, El Nopal's food is not greasy or heavy. Everything is made fresh in the restaurant. My favorite dishes are the chicken tacos on white and the chili rellenos. They also have great banquet facilities if you want to have a party there. They also cater off-site. I highly recommend this restaurant because the owners are great people who cook wonderful food and truly appreciate their customers. Pros: Green Chili, Rice, Chicken Tacos more

The Best in Pueblo 11/14/2005

El Nopal is one of Pueblo's oldest Mexican resturants. I highly recommend the restaurant because the food is tasty, rich and relatively cheap. Their salsa is to die for...I promise!!! Their orders-to-go are really nice for the busy parent because they also serve American food that your kids will really like.     recipes brought here by Rosa Ma Torres from
    various regions of the Mexican countryside as well as
    her own recipes. Our kitchen combines not only the

    and new worlds.
    Mexican cuisine is noted for its delicious blending of herbs and spices in combination with
    fine meats and fresh vegetables. We use only the finest ingredients and techniques in

    We use only selected chili pods in making our red chili sauce

    Our homemade salsa is made fresh several times daily

    We use only quality white meat chicken in our dishes

    We use only 100% vegetable oil in our fried foods

    We use no artificial flavoring or preservatives in our cooking

    Our chili rellenos are handmade and stuffed with only the finest green chilies.
