El Jardin has got to be the best mexican food around town.I drive from I-225 in Aurora to go have a great meal everytime.We as a family have never been dissapointed.From the family athmosphere to the huge meal selections to the great friendly waitstaff.Everyone always does their best to accomodate.Their margaritas are the best and my daughter loves their burritos.Due to the large seating capacity we very seldom have had to wait.With the menu prices to be very reasonable it is a great place to take the whole family and friends.We all agree it is worth the drive.It has surely become our favorite restaurant to go to. Iv'e been a regular customer for over twenty years. El Jardin has done tremoundous growth and redevelopment not only to their restaurant but to the surrounding community as well. Family owned and opperated by some terriffic people that really care about quality service. The food is never to hot that you can't taste the flavor. I'm a mild person myself but the rest of my family enjoys things a little more spicier. It's all good. Every single menu item is a devoured plate. The chimmy a'la mode is to die for and a perfect complement to end any meal with. My personal favorite is the smothered burrito (mild of course) and guacamole salad. My husband enjoys the menudo and mexican style shrimp cocktail. Well like I said, it's ALL good so no matter what you order you will be satisfied. Hope to see ya there! El Jardin is absolutely awesome. We found this gem in 2000 and recommend it to everyone!! My kids are 4 and 1 and have been going there since they were born. They ask to go all the time!! It's the only place we all agree on. The food is fabulous and the service is just awesome!! It is my restraunt of choice!! IT'S BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME, I CAN SEE WHY THEY GREET YOU AS SOON AS YOU GET TO THE DOOR, THEY ARE FAST AS SERVICE TO YOU. WE HAVE GONE TO THE RESTURANT AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE DAY AND YOU WILL STILL GET GREAT SERVICE. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH OF PRAISE TO THIS PLACE. I love this place, as a vegetarian they always bend over backwards to make sure that they can accommadate our meal request. This place was so lovely in fact we held our wedding reception there. They even specially made an all vegetarian meal for our wedding guest. There service is allways impressive! I highly recomend this restraunt to others!!! more

I have been eating at the El Jardin for over 20 years now. The restaurant has catered my wedding and we recently held my wife's college graduation party in their banquet room. Living in Morrsion we manage to make it to El Jardin only about every three weeks. We would definitely eat there more often if we lived closer. The food and service has always been excellent with a kind and courteous staff. The hot green chile is perfect and the recent addition of the pork carnitas meat being available all the time has made all of my favorites that much better. This is my top pick for Mexican resturants. The food is always fabulous and the service is great. You get seated very quickly and then out comes fresh tortilla chips and some of the best homemade salsa you will ever try. I know once you do try it, it will be hard not to eat the whole bowl, but don't fill up to much because they have the best burritos around. The breakfast burrito is a great way to start the day. They have so many to choose from. And you can get them plain or smothered with El Jardin's famous green chile. This green chile needs to be in a class all by itself. You can choose from mild, medium, hot, or super hot. For those who love HOT green chile, I dare you to try the super hot. For lunch you can't go wrong with one of there burritos either. For me I love the carne asada and avocado burrito, smothered in medium green chile. You try it and tell me you won't be back for more. The shredded beef burrito is also tops. The slowly roasted beef is so tender and delicious it would make your Grandma jealous. So go on down to El Jardin and be prepared to wake up your taste buds! The food is Excellent, that staff is very friendly and I have not encountered a problem at El Jardin! I always tell my friends, it is worth it to drive out to Commerce City for the food, and when they do, they LOVE it! I absolutely love the Fajita Burrito supreme, an excellent menu item. This is the place to go for a fantastic steak and avocado burrito smothered with the best green chili in the city. Their nightly specials are also awesome. Service is always attentive without being intrusive. Parking can be a problem in their parking lot but there is street parking and a large grocery store parking lot to the east of their location. We have lived in the remote restaurant starved Reunion area for over three years. Although a trip to El Jardin requires us to take a dangerous trip west on 104th to the even more hazardous Highway 2 south, it is worh the trip. My favorites are the Huevos Rancheros and Indian Tacos. I also like the coupons and specials that owner Ben Martinez uses to keep me coming in almost every week. If it were not for El Jardin and the nearby doughnut shop, I would have no reason to visit Commerce City, my new home town.
