Best Club 4/16/2010

When I first moved to Oregon I went to the E-Room, and loved it there, the bartenders were excellent and i had a blast there, if I could request a place to go this place would be it!!! Pros: Everything!! Cons: There are no cons!! more

The owners are very involved and very passionate. 2/7/2010

The bar owners Kim & Michelle are very involved in their club and accept people of all walks with open arms. They want this bar to be viewed in a community sense, almost as a second home/family. They offer a variety of entertainment, such as pool, karaoke, poker, dance nights, and even vaudeville, burlesque, and live music shows. Pros: Community oriented. Cons: NONE! more

Pretty rad place 2/21/2009

I live up in Tacoma, and while in Portland for the weekend my girlfriend and I decided to check the place out. We got there before the karaoke and dancing sections were open, which was great because we met some awesome people who joined us for pool. I often go to the Wild Rose in Seattle, and I definitely appreciated how much friendlier and more approachable the other patrons were. The only problem was a couple of staff members who have too great an opinion of themselves. Pros: 3 different rooms for different moods, friendly patrons Cons: Some staff members think they are hot s*** more

I've been going to this bar for over a year now, and still love it! Not only can you choose where you wanna hang out in the bar....in one of their 3 rooms, which all include a full service bar. Plus they have the best french fries around!!! The staff is great, and the owners treat their employees like family. Like any bar there is smoking in all rooms, so be aware for non-smokers. Straight, bi, or gay you're more then welcome into the bar. The usual people that go to the bar will welcome you with open arms as they all have a good time. Pros: Staff, service, drinks....all around great Cons: If you don't like smoking more

I have been to the E-room once and had so much fun that when my friends from Canada came to visit, I had to take them there- we get all dressed up and take a cab to the club, only to find out that we couldn't get in because one of the girls ID had expired. LAME. The girl at the door didn't try to soften the jab at all either. So we went to Ember's instead and had a blast! I'll never go to E-room again. Pros: Cool place to hang out if you are one of the regulars Cons: They don't seem to take kindly to non-regulars. more

Too smokey for me 2/21/2005

Considering that there are few options for me and my wife to go out on the town, this place fit the bill. But, by the time we left, my eyes were sore and she was coughing. Obviously we aren't smokers so if A LOT of smoke doesn't bother you, this place will be near a perfect 10. Pros: Gay & Lesbian Cons: Too much smoke more

Great hangout 1/22/2003

I relocated from South Florida which boasts the best clubs. I disagree. (Way too much attitude) I guess it depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for a friendly place with a laid back atmosphere, then this is the place for you. One of the main reasons I like it is the 3 different areas. You could be dancing one minute and then go shoot pool or maybe sitdown and watch the karayoke. You won't get attitude at this bar. A lot of fun and a great place. Pros: friendly Cons: a little smokey more

mixed bag but still fun 1/20/2003

the club has improved over the years in many ways EXCEPT for the dance music, but it's still fun and offers 3 different spaces to enjoy (dance area/bar, pool area/bar, and kareoke area/bar). Pros: 3 different spaces, mostly womyn, efforts to improve Cons: dance music, parking, smokey more

Love it, Love it, Love it !! Great place to just hang out and have some fun. Enjoy pool, jukebox and lots of conversation. Not too smoky and very friendly staff. You can even just come to unwind. Great Lesbian Hang-out. See ya there !! more

What would I do without it? 10/24/2002

Where else can a queer gal sing, dance, strip (or just watch), play pool or games, meet awesome girls, and get good service no backtalk? The staff are dedicated and expert, might I add talented and friendly? They hold creative things often like the annual wet Tshirt contest, but, if that kind of thing makes you squeamish, there are mellower niches. This is a place you can go either with friends or if you want to meet some. You can even be a fly on the wall. Yes it's a bit smoky in there. Pros: Parking, Staff & Service, Cool crowd Cons: Smoky, Sometimes too busy, Ex-GF may be there! more

Loved It! 7/12/2002

Hey Ladies! I finally got to visit the club after wanting to check it out for what seems like forever! I received a very warm welcome, and I even got enough courage to get up and sing! Dang was I nervous, but everybody was so kind. I loved the atmosphere! Can't wait to go back!     The main room has a honky-tonk feel, with simple decor and pool tables. A dining area has a bar decorated with discarded bras, and a stage for karaoke. Down a hallway, the cavernous Tomb Room hosts dancing and live drag shows. Weekend nights, the dark dance floor flashes with streams of light as female couples and singles take the floor. The rest of the time, it's a laid-back place to hang out or play pool.
