Embroidery Machine Repair 7/21/2016

Took a working embroidery machine in for routine service because of a squeak. Quote was for $70.00 and 7 to 10 days to complete. Took 7 1/2 weeks to complete and they still charged me $70.00 with absolutely no discount. It was even too much trouble to call me and tell me that they had an issue with the machine, I had to call them to find out a part was broken on my machine after 14 days. At no point could they give me an estimate of when the repair would be completed. At pickup when I complained about a part being broken when the machine worked fine when taken in, it suddenly wasn't broken it was bent, but each time I spoke to them before they talked about the broken part. Asked multiple times what part it was and no one knew exactly or some how changed the subject and wouldn't tell me. I will never do business with them again or recommend them to anyone! more

Excellent Service! 10/9/2005

The staff at Edward's Sewing and Vacuum Center are extremely helpful. I went in to find a pressure foot for an older sewing machine and didn't know what would exactly fit. The staff helped me right away and knew exactly what I needed, even though I didn't bring the machine into the store. I took home the part and it fit perfectly. I noticed that the store had a wide selection of used sewing machines priced extremely reasonably and that they had a list of classes for people who wanted to learn how to sew. Lots of free parking right out in front of the store. The sign is rather plain, so look on the same side as the Coliseum when you go. A grocery market and office building is located directly in back and to the side of Edwards. Hours are short, especially during winter months. more

If you are in the market for a new sewing machine, this is the place to check out. They have a good selection to view and try out. After purchasing a machine, they offer free lessons to help you learn what you bought. I bought a machine from them, have had them clean it, and would buy my next one from them! more
