Eclipse Salon Spa

I recently found my favorite spa. Eclipse is great at Shelac Manacures, Pedicures,Hair Cuts and Colors and Massage. Today I had Uli for an hour massage and I couldn't be more pleased. It was not a fluff and buff but a real Theraputic Massage. I have fibromyalgia and I hurt all over. But an hour with Uli and I was energized. She and Anya who does my nails and Heather who does my hair and Jenny who always hands me an aroma therapy towel and offers me beverage and cookie are my new best friends! I have recommended this salon to a few of my friends and they are pleased as well. So far I have had 5 appointments everyone has been timely and the results have been over my expectations. Kudos to Eclipse. I'll see you all next Friday. more

After going thru chemo and radiation this past year, my hair has grown back a different color and is now a different style that I have embraced. However, I was very nervous over my first haircut/trim, as this little pixy-do I have now could be easily turned into a nightmare, if not cut properly. My girlfriend to me she had "the place" and "the girls" to work with me and give me the look I wanted. I was nervous. I walked in and the receptionist, Jenny was so bright and pleasant, offering me a soft drink of my choice. With a matter of under two minutes, I was introducted to Anya, my stylist. I liked that she listened to what I wanted. She began with a wonderful head, neck and shoulder massage. I did not need much of a cut at this point, but the trimming and tweeking she did, softened my look and captured exactly what I was looking for. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON! more

My experience here started out well enough, I was offered coffee by a friendly receptionist and ushered into a chair to wait for Jennifer, the "stylist." From the moment I was introduced to Jennifer she was stand-offish and unfriendly. The style she produced was not what I had asked for (and in fact fell out 3 hours later) and she refused to modify it. Her attitude was poor, as was that of the management when I attempted to offer constructive criticism. My event went on without a hitch but I was still upset about my experience at Eclipse and when I called to speak with management, I was essentially called a liar since Jennifer didn't seem to "recall" my experience as being poor. Customer service is lacking and attitude was poor at best from both the stylist and manager. I would never recommend this salon to anyone! more

This salon was very nice. I had a mani/pedi from Tricia and she was wonderful. My nails and toes looked awesome and I will go back! The rest of the staff was very polite as well. Go there! Pros: wonderful employees, good location Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

I was a first-time client when I called to get my hair cut. I told the receptionist (who was extremely helpful and friendly) that I wanted to cut my shoulder-length hair considerably shorter. I asked for her recommendation and she suggested Carol. I could not be happier! First of all, Carol is very easy to talk to, and I enjoyed my time in her chair. I took in two pictures and showed her what I wanted. She gave me an EXACT REPLICA of the picture - I kid you not!! I've gotten compliments on my hair daily since then. I have found a stylist for life!! Pros: Parking, friendly staff, very skilled stylists Cons: Kind of expensive - BUT WORTH IT! more

I have been going to Eclipse for almost 20 yrs. and would not go anywhere else. I've never left unhappy and have tried several stylist and spa workers. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. I get the sense that the ppl that work there really enjoy it and get along. I've had everything from cuts and foils done to facials and massages and always leave refreshed and anxious to return. Eclipse is definately worth trying. And in response to the other reviewer that said she waited so long....I don't know what happened that day, but I've never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for my appointment and they have even been nice enough to call me on one occasion to let me know my stylist was running behind 20 minutes and so I could come in a bit later. This was nice as I was at a friends house and was able to stay longer instead of waiting in the lounge area. I also happen to know because I've gone there for so long that the city limits what signage they are able to use, it is not the choice of the owner, but rather a city ordinance that prevents this. This place needs to clean up their act. Although they have quality treatments and services, I would not recommend it. My appointment was at 3:30, but because they were running behind schedule they did not serve me until 4:45! I usually dont have ten minutes to waist much less an hour and fifteen minutes - but my schedule was packed for the next week and i needed to release my stress. Several times I went up to the receptionist and reminded them I was still waiting and my appointment was at 3:30 and they would just continue to say that my lady was just finishing up with another client. If they continue this way they will certainly not have repeat customers. Also, this place has poor signage. I have lived off of Silver Lake Road for 20yrs and never knew it was there. I only discovered it when i waslookingthroughtheyellowpages. Pros: Quality, Good Parking Cons: Poor Signage!, Long Wait! more

I am from the New Brighton area and went to Eclipse for a number of years. It is relaxed and the folks that work there are extremely nice. Kim P is a wonderful stylist and we always had fun passing the time together. I never left unhappy! Pros: good parking, aveda products more
