My family and I really enjoy EATcetera. So far, it's been weirdly uncrowded on Sunday afternoons, but it's a small place, so that's kind of nice. The staff is friendly and courteous. I asked if they had nutrition info, as I am watching my weight, and was greeted by a nutritionist. She thanked me, seeming genuinely grateful for my suggestion, and said she'd try to find time to figure that out for their menu. I'm a vegetarian (ovo-lacto for now), and I still have more than one choice there. I like their whole wheat tartine (thin-sliced bread open-face sandwich-y thing) layered with carmelized onion, a strong cheese (I forgot the name), thin-circle-slices of pear, and baby spinach leaves... goreous presentation. I get the salad, which is is mixed greens (none bitter, a plus!), and dressing on the side. They also have a good asparagus with blue cheese panini-like sandwich, and when you arrive, they serve a complementary panini-chips and some kind of delicious vegetable-and-cheese-like spread that's just enough to whet the appetite without ruining it (a danger with some restaurant starters like chips&salsa or bread&oil). So, check this place out... even if you're a meat-eater, since most of the menu does include the normal deli-sliced selections. Oooh, and their desserts are terrific (my favorite's the bread pudding, but please hold the calorie count...in this case I don't want to know!).
Pros: Delicious, complex & interesting menu items; attentive & friendly service.
Cons: Needs closer handicap ramp; no nutrition information for calorie-counters as yet.
