was a little weary of booking the hotel since the pictures on the website looked so outdated, but was so happy at check in to find the hotel is further up the beach, away from the noise and traffic near the boardwalk. more

Dunes Village Resort is great for Spring Break 10/20/2009

We went to Dunes Village for Spring Break and it was awesome. My kids are 12 and 10 and they both loved it. They have an indoor water park, so even if the weather isn't nice, you can still have fun swimming. THe people that work there were very nice too. For Spring Break, I would highly recommend it. more

Dunes Village Resort is Awesome! 9/28/2009

I have 3 kids very young in age and we just recently visited here. I LOVED it!! They have 2 indoor water parks. Appropriate for all ages. My 2 year old even when down the slides. There is a craft time everyday as well. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. The food in the other restaurants was good as well. Great location! Great for families. Very clean and nice rooms. I like the extended balcony as well because I did not have to worry as much about the kids being out there :) more

Great for a ladies weekend away! 6/10/2009

I recently visited the Dunes Village Resort with about 11 other women for a weekend away. We rented several of the 4 bedroom, ocean front condos and we were pleasantly surprised. The condos were large with full size kitchens and large dining room table. The living room was a nice size with a pull-out sofa bed. Each bedroom, expect one, had a private balcony and the there was a large balcony off of the living room with an ocean view. There were 3 large bathrooms, included one with a jetted tub. There was a decent breakfast buffet in the morning. We did not eat dinner in the resort. We drove to nearby Broadway at the Beach to eat. We also spent a lot of time at both the indoor and the outdoors pools. They were large pools and not overcrowded. We also enjoyed ordering lunch and drinks from the pool side cabana. We walked down the boardwalk to the beach and relaxed during the morning time. The beach is clean and only a bit crowded during peak hours/season. The indoor water parks were a bla more

Great place for kids 4/5/2009

The rooms here are large and reasonably priced. It is great to be right on the beach, too. The kids love the water park!I'd have to say that the cons are the following: Food is not great on-site -- you'll need to cook or drive somewhere.Parking is across the street.Indoor pools are not all heated -- we were there during a cold week, and the baby had blue lips whenever we went into one.Water parks aren't connected, so kids are outside to go from one to the other (in wet bathing suits). Once again, we were there on a cold week.I'd still recommend it overall -- we had a great time. more
