Best

What a cute little place and the food is amamzing! A great date place or place to eat with the girls! You at least need to try it! Pros: Everything Cons: can't think of on...

Worst

Djangos left much to be desired. Food was adequate and service was average. We would not go back. There are too many wonderful restaurants to waste one's time in an establishment ...

wow 8/15/2002

I have not been this excited by food in a while. every bite was delectable. not overstacked and frilly but sensable and sensuous. a must try new menu every day so you know it's fresh. Pros: the food, the service Cons: south street more

Not a 10, but pretty good 8/5/2002

Cooking is precise and creative, while remaining true to its origins. Service is seriously below par, with sour faces and superficial knowledge of the menu. The décor seems to have been collected from neighborhood garage sales (and don't tell me that this is a Brasserie, I have spent enough in those to tell that the decor is simply cheap). Lastly, the large number of perfect ""10"" here tells more about the naivety of restaurant goers in Philly, than the actual quality of Django. That said, it's still one of my favorite places in this city. Pros: Cooking, BYOB, True to French origin Cons: Unknowledgeable serve, Decor, Not cheap more

Unbeleivable!! 7/31/2002

Words cannot even describe Django! My husband and I are food fanatics and have been to Django many times.. They never dissapoint. The food is so delicious and the quaint, cozy atmosphere is perfect. Service is very professional, yet not in anyway snobby. Very friendly staff. We rate is out best BYOB, without a doubt! Pros: Food, Service, Location Cons: Hard to get a table more

Not worth speed dialing to snag a res 7/30/2002

I accepted a Wed night reservation because, well, it was the only thing available in the following 30 days and no reservations were taken prior than 30 days to the actual date. Since I have better things to do with my time than speed dial on a Sat morning, I took the reservation. Cute ambience slightly destroyed by table of 4 loud, drunken women. I love a BYO but not when the patrons bring along a gallon of Wawa Iced Tea and Vodka and pound away through their stay. For the price, the food was quite good. But nowhere near good enough for the effort necessary to get a reservation. Pros: Good Food, Prompt Service, BYO Cons: Cramped, Can be loud, No place to wait more

BRAVO ! 7/29/2002

The food was excellent = zero default ( you even impressed us with your cheese plate and we know about cheese, we are French ! ) the place is cosy, the staff very friendly and the price at the end very reasonable. Bravo, the best BYOB in Philly ! Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Price Cons: Hard to get a table more

Like Being in Europe 7/26/2002

This quaint little BYOB (my new favorite) is tucked away on 4th street, just above South. It's cozy and romatic, and feels very European. The food is amazing! Don't miss the Fish Monger's soup. Pros: great atmosphere, great food, BYOB Cons: difficult to park, hard to get a reserva more

What a cheese plate! 7/23/2002

Django is everything a good restaurant should be. Friendly, fresh and delicious. And what a cheese plate! more

excellent 7/20/2002

The cheese plate is the best. It is presented with an explanation of each chesse and accompanied by tasty croutons and condiments. Pros: food, innovative menu, cheese plate Cons: location more
