Divine movers did not pad furniture and wrap items sufficiently and as a result numerous items were damaged in the move. The movers also arrived almost two hours late because the...

if you want you stuff treated w/TLC... 12/15/2003

I recently used Divine to move and would have to say that w/the exception of an initial small glitch (didn't deliver boxes when promised w/no follow up call...but there was a small snow storm to contend with) my move was handled very professionally. I had a lot of furniture, some of it really nice (white glove attention) some ready for the garbage pile (they helped w/that too). David was great and his crew of guys were very friendly and courteous. Moving in NYC is never inexpensive but I would rather pay $$ to a company like Divine who treated me and my stuff with TLC than save a couple of bucks and have it be moved by people how could care less...would definitely recommend them. Pros: on time, attention to detail, courteous Cons: not inexpensive more

Fantastic 9/3/2003

We have used Divine for the past two moves and we love them!! Five of our friends have used them and loved them as well. They are easy, reliable (to the minute) and handle your belongings with a white glove. Highly recommend them!! Pros: Reasonably Priced, Reliable, Courteous more

Have no fear... 1/23/2003

I was a bit nervous as this was the first time I was using a moving company. David was very informative and nice as the other reviews indicate. There was absolutely no pressure. The estimate was significantly less than other companies. The team was extremely careful, informative, and went beyond the level of service. Packed things extremely well. Nothing broke. Estimate was almost spot on. No surprises. What a relief. They really took care of everything and the whole experience was a smooth one. Pros: inexpensive, supreme care, very nice staff Cons: none more

i want to thank the team for helping us move in such a short notice, every thing was great, very fast , i still can't belive how fast they took every thing in the stairs down and later up. all of the team were nice guys hard workers one of the workers were ex army men and we saw how he handeld the team , wow. Pros: speed, price, value more

thank you for all your help with my "simple" move... i know it was very hard 3 days for your men at my move, we have a lot of things well, two kids, home office, pets... packing unpacking the 4 hours drive to our new house... i wish to say that i will use you again but i don't think that i will move from this house in the next few years if ever but all of my friends and employees will move with you! thanks for everything. more

He followed up with calls, answered all my questions and gave me an accurate estimate. I called around to several dozen other places, and Diving Moving was by far the best deal. From a 4-story walk-up to a 5-story walk-up, the movers were quick but thorough and careful. I have already recommended to them to my friends and colleagues. I've done the research for you already. Phenomenal, I couldn't ask for a better moving company! i saw them a month ago while i was looking for a taxi they worked in the rain without stopping and i was impressed with the way that they have warped and packed everything. i have already compared prices and was about to go with another "deal" from someone else that i have used two years ago but faith was on my side this time and i came across their phone number in your web site and from their it was a smooth ride,at one part of the move i told the supervisor that he doesn't need to put my old tv in a box but he put it anyway and didn't charge me for the box he said that he is not taking any chances with things that are not his... amazing ... thank you. My wife and I recently used Divine Moving to move within Manhattan, and they did a great job. They were courteous, friendly and punctual. The crew worked quickly and carefully, and everything made it to our new apartment in one piece. I also found their prices to be very reasonable. more
