I've been hanging around the Dive Bar for a long time now, it's a great place to relax with some friends and drink some really well priced beers. No pretentious a**-hole kids hangin around, just good people, neighborhood regulars and good lookin girls. The beer selection is one of the best I've seen in the neighborhood and the food is much better than the average bar food. Not only is the regular bar stuff great, like the burgers and the wings (the burgers really are awesome. I usually dont like big burgers but these are incredible,) but there's some real unique stuff as far as casual bar restaurants go (stuff like this crazy corn crab chowder and fresh salmon salads, and fried pickles and pulled pork.) and I havent been anywhere else where you can get a $3 Brooklyn lager or Anchor Steam at happy hour. Great prices all around actually.
The Dive is just a great plus that I go to when I dont want to deal with the bad, snobby attitutudes that are prevelant at a lot of the bars in the area. Nice staff too, very welcoming, very layed back and friendly. And they show International Soccer (football) too, which is always big plus.
Pros: Great, ever changing menu, beer list and even wine selection. Lots of tvs that you can still ignore if you dont wanna watch them.
Cons: Tables can fill up fast on a busy night
