Had a great time at POP! 8/27/2006

We had a fabulous time staying at the Disney Pop Century resort. While it is a value resort, I felt the room was quite adequate. I was worried it would be too small, however it was the perfect size for two adults and one nine year old. The pool was virtually open until whatever time you wanted, as long as you were not being loud or obnoxious. The decorations are very cute, and the pools are all very nice. This is a nice resort to stay at if you are visiting Walt Disney World, I highly recommend this place. There is also a lake you can take a stoll down, and you can't beat the Disney buses which run all day between the parks and the resorts. more

Great value 4/15/2006

Pop Century is considered one of the value resort hotels at Disney World and, in my opinion, it is the best of the value resorts (All Star Movies, Music, Sports are the others). Pop Century is the newest of the value resorts and they did a good job with it. The food court area is nice, as is the pool area. Obviously there is bus service to all Disney parks and recreation areas. The rooms are pretty basic but clean and there is a playground and gift shop, etc. It is a good hotel if you want to go to Disney and stay on-site but don't want to spend a lot on the hotel. more

Pop Century Hotel was great Disney lodging 4/1/2006

I couldn't justify staying at one of the pricier Walt Disney World properties during our trip last November. My fiance had never been to WDW ever (a travesty, in my opinion) so I insisted we stay on-property. In my experience this is usually a plus because the Disney hotels are cleaner and transportation is free. We were not disappointed. We loved the hotel, didn't mind the cafeteria style dining and enjoyed all the attention to detail Disney puts out, even in their hotels. The fiance is now looking forward to going back -- he can't get over how the Disney crew thinks of every little thing. What pleased me the most was the cleanliness. I've stayed in plenty of hotels and motels in Florida, with so many of them being worn and dirty. Even though Pop Century is one of Disney's "budget" resorts, our room and the facility itself was spotless. more
