I couldn't justify staying at one of the pricier Walt Disney World properties during our trip last November. My fiance had never been to WDW ever (a travesty, in my opinion) so I insisted we stay on-property. In my experience this is usually a plus because the Disney hotels are cleaner and transportation is free. We were not disappointed. We loved the hotel, didn't mind the cafeteria style dining and enjoyed all the attention to detail Disney puts out, even in their hotels. The fiance is now looking forward to going back -- he can't get over how the Disney crew thinks of every little thing. What pleased me the most was the cleanliness. I've stayed in plenty of hotels and motels in Florida, with so many of them being worn and dirty. Even though Pop Century is one of Disney's "budget" resorts, our room and the facility itself was spotless.
