When my older children go to school each day, my youngest child looks forward to going to her "school" everyday. Discovery World is a loving and caring learning center. Best place for my kids 2/3/2009

I just read the review from September...my children attend this school and have for 3 years now. We love it, this is the most educational school in San Antonio. Our 4 yr old is already reading and we didn't have to pay extra for the classes. The DIrector is an angel and the staff are all warm and welcoming to the children. We've never had a problem with this school and have recommended 3 of our friends, whom all still attend. Pros: Education Cons: Building needs painting more

Scary daycare 9/10/2008

I visited the center with my children. My oldest was terrified. The place on the outside looked like a prison. The inside looked like a homeless shelter. Everyone was sitting a single room watching TV. A teacher kept shoving a two-year-old down on the floor trying to force the child to watch TV and not play with toys. The playground was half dirt and half grass with a single swing set with two swings. That is it. Two spills on the concrete floor. I pretty much ran out out of there. Pros: after school teacher seemed nice Cons: baby teacher and facility itself scary more

Never take your child here 12/19/2006

This is the perfect daycare for parents who do not care how their children are cared for. The actual caregivers are wonderful. Unfortunately, administration does not let them do their adequately and are not AT ALL familiar with Texas Laws. The current director is from Ohio and in her 2 months at this daycare facility, she has not learned one law about how children should be cared for. She claims to still be learning, so should you decide to take your child(ren) there, they can be her new experiment! Pros: The caregivers Cons: Director and assistant director more
