walk in and i didnt have an appointment...nobody greeted me..when someone did get to work on me..seem like they are trying to get me out as quick as possible...

I moved to Charlotte from San Diego and the hardest part was replacing my nail tech of 10 years. After many awful experiences in town I finally found Cindy at Dilworth nails after 3 years of looking. The nail salon is clean and bright! They take walk ins and call them on Sunday they just might be open for that indulgent pedicure during the football games!!! Quality of service is also friendly and it's reflected in their long term clients. It's a fun social place to hang with the girls. OR bring your man for a pedi he won't feel awkward with the other guys in there too! Call and make an appointment today or book your next girl outing at Dilworth nails !!! more

Nothing Spectacular 8/4/2010

I had two job interviews in the area, so I went to the nail salon that I found with the best reviews, this one. The place is clean, staff was incredibly friendly, and I loved watching Rachael Ray while getting my nails done. However, they charge me for the cutdown which I don't like, as it's always been a part of my fill. They also dried my nails differently than I normally get (I have acrylics, and they did the gel dry) thus last night, my white tips were a brownish color, as if the UV light burnt them, so I had to get them repainted. If that hadn't happened, I think it would be a decent experience, but in my search for a great nail place, I'm unsure if this will be it. more

I scored with this place! 7/23/2010

I called this salon last minute, as I'm only in town for one night. They got me in right away and were so friendly. I've been getting regular pedicures for years now, and I've learned the hard way that lots of nail techs don't know what they're doing-- but Dilworth was fantastic. The girl who gave me my pedicure was so nice and she did a beautiful job. She had a light touch and was very conservative in trimming cuticles and buffing my nails. She also did a flawless job with a shiny, fun, summer-fuchsia color. All of their people are really conscientious about hygiene, too. They wear latex gloves to work in, and take care to remove them/change into new ones if they move from one client to another. The pumice used on my toes was brand new, straight out of the original plastic. I can't say enough good things about Dilworth. There was such a fun vibe among everyone there-- staff and clientele. If I'm ever back in Charlotte, I will make it a point to return. Pros: clean, professional, fun atmosphere Cons: I don't live in Charlotte more

me and my friend came to dilworth nails before we took our big trip to vegas. being our first time getting manicures we were pretty nervous and scared. the girls made the experience very relaxing and fun! Thanks again we'll be back soon! Pros: very friendly, free booze, english speaking nail techs! Cons: none! more

Dilworth Nails did a great job! I absolutely love my mani/pedi. The service was excellent, price was affordable, and quality .. my nails are still shiny and not chipping off! When I moved to Charlotte a year and a half ago, I visited 3 or 4 nail salons in the uptown/dilworth area and was not able to find one that did my nails the way I was accustomed to. Pros: great service, quality, value and fun staff more

The best nail salon in Charlotte - bar none! 5/21/2009

Before Dilworth Nails, I went to a very expensive and well known salon to have my acrylic nails done, and inevitably in just a few days my nails were flying off, and I feared I end up in litigation for putting someone's eye out with a flying index fingernail one day. I happened across Dilworth Nails when I could no longer get a reasonable appointment at the well known salon and the prices were just too high, and have been with Dilworth Nails ever since. Six years and countless nail tips later, I am still having my acrylic nails done at Dilworth Nails and never had a bad experience. Many times, when I have no polish on, people mistake my acrylic nails for natural ones. (I wish!) The prices are more than reasonable and the staff is always friendly and fun. I have no problem recommending all my friends to Dilworth Nails. (By the way, the salon owner, Lisa, is absolutely hysterical). Great Price, Great Nails, Great Atmosphere 10/22/2008

I have been to several nail salons in the Charlotte area and I feel that this one is by far the best. The place is clean with an open decor. You actually have room to move around instead of being right on top of other customers. I have been there numerous times and have always had a good experience. I took my bridal party there last month and they did a fantastic job. My nails looked great for not only the wedding but the honeymoon as well. Everyone was pleased with the service as well as the price from the girl who gets her nails done every other week to the girl who had never had her nails done before. I highly recommend them. I am so happy that I went to Dilworth Nails to have my acrylics repaired. All the ladies were so nice and personable. I had my nails done on Saturday at another salon, and by Sunday, they were already peeling away. I paid a fortune for these nails. I went to Dilworth Nails and asked if they could fix my nails. Amy did the repair and she did such a great job! You can't even tell that any repair was made. She touched up all 10 and charged me for 1 repair. Unbelievable! I can't stop looking at my nails! They look incredible! And their prices are great, too. I will be back!! Thank you so much, Amy!! Pros: Quality, price, staff, and much more! Cons: Can't think of any more

Best Nails Quickly and Cheaply! 8/16/2007

I went to this nail salon to get my nails done before my wedding, and they had to last because I had a few days before the actual wedding (it was out of town). They did an unbelievable job, and the girls were so nice. My nails (french manicure acrylics) looked so natural, the bridesmaids said they didn't even know they weren't my own nails. They lasted through the wedding and a 1 1/2 week honeymoon with sand, etc. And it didn't break the budget for someone trying to hold on to those last dollars of a wedding budget. This place is great, and I will make a point to go back, even though I am really not the type of person to get my nails done all of the time, but at those prices why not? I'm pleased with the results and the attentive care that I received from the staff at Dilworth Nails. I had hair removed from my back and didn't experiance the amount of pain I had expected. Very Professional, in and out quickly.I will use them again. more
