My Favorite Veterinarin 12/3/2010

I have been a client of Dill Hospital and Dr. Hare for more than 14 years. I had given up on 3 Vets when I was lucky enough to find him.\r Over the years he has cared for 5 of my dogs and 22 of our Scottie puppies along with 1 cat all with thoughtful care and deep concern for their health and well being. The techs and the girls at the front desk always know who I am and asked about my animals and how all are doing. Dr. Hare has operated on many of my dogs and they come out of his office happy and alert and show no side effect of the surgery.\r I highly recommend Dr. Timothy Hare for the best care of your pet.\r You may never find a doctor who will be as straight forward about your pet's health and the care needed for a healthy pet. If you do you are lucky. I am glad to have him. more

Dill Veterinary Hospital is simply the best. 8/5/2009

It's been 6 years since I entered the veterinary field. I have worked in multiple hospitals with dozens of DVM's and by far Dr. Tim Hare is the only Veterinarian who has proven me to be the sincerely best man to care for an animal. He works 6 days a week and he still come over on Sundays to take care of the Hospital pets. He is the reason why I'm a vet tech and not an architect from 5 years ago; I fell in love the way he loves his patients. To him, animals are more than an a four legged anatomy with a physiology; they are a very important member of the family! Dr. Hare practices excellent veterinary medicine that he gained through his outstanding academic achievement from Washington State University, Cum Laude graduate, and working with his father who was a Board Certified Opthalmologist. Last July he completed his 30th year in his career and he feels he still has a lot time to help his critters. This place is horrible!! They only care about your money. They could care less about your pet. \r \r I believe the owner makes his employee's write good reviews because he is so bad. \r \r He has Bad reports at Rip Off Report, BBB, and the California Veterinary Board. \r \r He is a con artist. If you love your pet do not take them to this monster. more

WOW! 5/24/2009

Despite other reviews available online, I disagree with what most of them say about this hospital.\r \r This is by far the best veterinary hospital I have been to. Dr. Hare seems to really honestly care about the animals that come to him. My dog had a major procedure done at this hospital and wow! they were really patient, understanding accommodating, comforting and always respectful to my pet and me.\r They actually remember who your are !\r \r The girls at the front desk are always smiling and are always nice to everyone.\r \r The guys in the back are patient with both the animals and the owners. They honestly do seem to care about your pets.\r \r Dr. Hare is the nicest veterinarian I have met so far. He was so nice and comforting. He seemed to honestly care about my pet, constantly monitoring him and not making one of his RVT's do it.\r \r I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone who is looking for a permanent vet to go to.   • Dill Veterinary Hospital has been taking care of animals in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas for over 60 years. We have received the highest certification from the American Animal Hospital Association, and we have been a member of AAHA since 1965. AAHA is the Standards of Excellence for veterinary practices. Dill Veterinary Hospital is owned and operated by Dr. Timothy Hare. Dr. Hare graduated Cum Laude from Washington State University. After graduating from WSU, Dr. Hare enjoyed the experience of working with his father, who was a Board Certified Ophthalmologist. This provided an opportunity to diagnose and treat a wide range of diseases of the eye. He also worked nights and weekends in Emergency Clinics, developing skills to handle emergency medicine and surgery. Continuing education is a priority to keep abreast of new advances in veterinary medicine, and Dr. Hare frequently attends meetings throughout the U.S. Dr. Hare is a member of the following organizations: AAHA, AVMA, CVMA and SCVMA. Dr. Terrie Johnson DVM - Veterinarian Dr. Terrie Johnson is a Southern California Native. She graduated from UC Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995, and has been practicing in Southern California. She is a general practitioner with a special interest in reproduction for the last 14 years. Dr. Johnson frequently incorporates holistic medicine and nutrition into her treatment plans believing that it is important to treat the whole animal, not just the symptoms. In her free time, Dr Johnson breeds Golden Retrievers and can frequently be found handling them in conformation, agility and field events.Some of her other hobbies are water skiing camping and horse back riding. Education: UCI Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Biology/Biological Sciences, General 1987-1990 UC Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine Doctor of Veterinary Medicine 1991 – 1995 .
