I don't get to this place enough, but will again this weekend. I usually visit during off hours when friends are in town (because my wife doesn't like to drink and my son is too young to be able to get in ;), e.g., Saturday or Sunday late afternoon or early evening. The keys are to order the right beer -- the staff are quite willing to allows a taster or two, and my favorite is there IPA, the best in the Seattle area, imho -- and the right food. My recommendation: The basil bleu. This is a mouth-watering rib-eye with bleu cheese, basil, mushroom, and veggies. The kicker, though, is that, like many of their dishes, it's delivered to you almost immediately as a raw steak on a 750-degree-F platter, and you get to cook it! If you like it raw, just start eating. If you like it well-done, cut it into thin slices and cook it on the platter to your own tastes. And they're very willing to advise on how to cook it based on your tastes, and you can get it just the way you like it! Again, great place, wish I lived closer!
Pros: Good food, good beer, good people
Cons: Parking can be a bit freaky during busy times
