The desert of Maine is a great place to visit. You get a trolley ride all over the desert while a guide tells you all about how it came to be.Kids can roll down teh big hill and also sift through the sand to find gems to take home. You can also walk around the desert if you prefer. There is a museum and gift shop also located on the premises. You can also camp at teh campground right next door. It's very interesting for kids and adults alike. more
