Depot Grille

I love the Depot Grille, they are the heart of downtown Staunton. Definitely a place to see, very unique place with classy and elegant food,yet family friendly with a great kids menu. Not your typical kids menu. It is an old box car at the train station made into a classy restaurant that everyone can enjoy with the best Ribs and Crab Dip ever. more

When ever I am in town on business we make a point to visit this restaurant located in the old freight depot. We always get the crab cakes for an appetizer. Their best entrees seafood and ribs. The bottom line is great food and atmosphere. more

I have been to the Depot for lunch and dinner. I enjoyed both but recommend lunch there more. I visited the place with my friends who come in from the Tidewater area and they were very impressed that a small town like Staunton had a very warm and cozy place to eat and visit with friends. We had salads, sandwiches and full meals. All were delicious. I especially enjoyed the seafood. I had the grilled chichen over a spinach salad which was superb. Another time for dinner with my family We had several selections from steak, spiced shrimp, stuffed chicken breast and a cheeseburger. All were great. Great service and friendly wait staff too. Pros: Timely Service and Wait Staff Cons: Not enough parking for the size of the restaurant. more
