Hi everyone, i couldnt help but share my review. Natali is the best hair stylist ive ever had, before i saw her my hair was a mess from a previous stylist. I had different color blondes in my hair and a horrible haircut, but thanx to Natali i look amazing. She fixed all the mistakes others have made and now i feel amazing. I rarely feel compelled to write reviews for things, but i have been cutting my own hair for a while (shaving it, really) and i went out on a whim and got a real cut. usually, i get buyers remorse when i spend 30 bucks and get a cut that looks worse than when i do it, but my head actually has shape, and it has really grown out so nicely, that i didn't need another cut for a couple of months. i will certainly be going back, and i won't be risking it with someone else. Pros: price was very reasonable Cons: went on the weekend, parking may be weird during the week, can't tell. more

I don't know if Rose still works at Dej, but I was a loyal client of hers for 8 years, I followed her to Dej from her previous salon. I have lived outside of the US for many years now and often wish I could go to Rose for my color and cuts, she truly was the best I have had in my life. more

I have to say, I have been going to DEJ for almost four years, and aI have NEVER had a hair stylist as GREAT as Lauren Arrington. She is SO excellent, so precise, SUCH a perfectionist, and a truly lovely person. \r \r By far, oneof the BESTR colorists in LA. (I get complements on my color ALL the TIME!) and her cuts are fantastic. I have long hair, and my good friend has hers super short- we both go to Lauren, and couldn't be happier with her. Lauren can work well with any style, plus-truly LISTENS to you...She won't get too creative with your hair unless you want her to! If you go to her, soon, I swear you too will be referring all of your friends...! Give DEJ a shot, and definitely, definitely- book an appointment with Lauren ASAP, at least a week or two in advance....:) YOU WON'T REGRET IT! more

Erica works great with my naturally curly hair and her blowouts are divine. She keeps up-to-date on the latest trends and even discovered a little secret ingredient to put in my color so it doesn't irritate my sensitive scalp. I now have six friends who are regular clients of Miss Erica. She totally rocks! more

I was in need of finding a place to get my haircut in the valley. I chose Dej Salon based on the reviews I read on Citysearch. I called up the salon and spoke to Katie who is very nice and very patient. I told her what I was looking for- someone good at short, razor cuts and she suggested that I make an appointment with Don. I am soooo happy to say that I was not disappointed. I got there alittle early for my appointment, they took me right away and less than an hour later I had a fabulous new haircut. Don is THE BEST for short hairstyles. I am beyond happy with my new haircut and have gotten so many compliments. Pros: great atmosphere, friendly environment more

I get my color and cuts done with Lauren Arlington and I always look great! :-) I had a lot of bad experiences before but Lauren is amazing especially if you have blonde hair or if you want to go from dark to blonde. Pros: Lauren/Nice Atmosphere more

I love this salon. I especially love Solli, my new hairstylist. I went to her on a referral from the girl that does my eyebrows-who is super cute, stylish and always has the best hair. Solli fits that decription perfectly too! I'm super picky about my hair an resisted at first, but needed a new look. I'm so glad I was adventurous and tried someone new. I LOVE my hair! The color is the best and so is the cut. Solli was really nice and really patient. I finally just let her do what she thought was best and it's better than I could have ever described to her. I'll definitely be back! more

Solli is the ultimate best hair stylist there is!! She is a super sweetheart, so fun and funny, and I just love how I always feel so ""hollywood"" when I leave her care!! I get compliments up to ying-yang after I've seen her so as long as she's in business I will definitely keep coming back for more! :-) The salon is great too - I enjoy the decor and ambience, and all the people there seem nice, always smiling or laughing and loving their hair!! I love love love this salon. I go there for Solli (she's at the 1st station as you walk in). She really knows what she's doing. My color always looks amazing and the cut is always perfect. Frida Mekari is the one hair stylist I've been looking for. I will never go to anyone else but Frida. And Dej Salon is a very cool place, very hip, friendly atmosphere and people, good music. Leaves you feeling rejuvenated. Definitely check it out. more

I just started going to Dej about 1 year ago because my hair stylist, Solli Libling transferred there. I have been going to Solli for 7 years and I have to say EVERYONE ALWAYS LOVES MY HAIR. I have sent many referrals and everyone is happy. I just went a couple of nights ago and had to write a review. Not only did she give me the best new look (she cut off about 1 foot of hair!!!), but everyone I see compliments me and people at work want to copy my style! Since she moved to Dej I love going to her even more because not only is she closer to my house, but the salon is super cool. It's hip and everyone there is really nice.\r If you go, ask for Solli. She's the best with color and always cuts my hair perfectly. Pros: Parking-if you can't find street parking the valet at the restaurant just east of the salon is only $2. more

I've been going to Christine now for 4 years. She's an awesome colorist and I love how she cuts my hair. Dej Salon is a hip place but not pretentious and lacks the Beverly Hills attitude that I just won't tolerate anymore. If your looking for an awesome cut and color, definitely request Christine George! more

From their front door, to the spin tables, to their little patio I adore Dej. It is such an awesome place with a cool, artsy and hip atmosphere, that everytime I go is an experience. The owner has just done great with all aspects of the place, including the employees. There is one in particular that I must mention. I feel that just like finding a good doctor, or CPA or accountant you gotta have a good hairdresser. And when you find one they are indispensible. My hairdresser is Christine George. I have not let anyone touch my hair but Christine since 1997. I have followed her in all the dinky little place she worked and also all the fancy shmancy ones too, till she found her home at Dej. I can write an essay about all the things she can do, considering I have gone trough all the crazy, hip, on the spur of the moment hairstyles and haircolors, but I just really want to mention her dedication and commitment to what she does. She is a perfectionist when it comes to what she does and I am so thankful for that because the attention she gives to her craft is hard to find. When I first visited the salon I discovered a great hairdresser who understood my needs. I just love my hairdresser Christine. Not only does she cut my hair to suit my face she colors it and weaves it with the greatest expertise. And she listens. I have extremely fine hair and I've had cuts where it looks like the hair has dissappeared off my head. Christine cuts it just enough so that not only is the cut trendy, my hair is also quite full when blown out. She has quite a knack with both shears and scissors to give me a precise cut. She also knows what hair color goes best with my skin tones and when she does do a weave, it is very natural and I don't have a striped look. She gets an A+ from me and a repeat customer for life. i found this gem because of the reviews on this site .. as a result, i decided to join in on the reviews. first, katie is the best hostess. she acts like you are a guest in her home. the place is wildly cool and inviting. i found erica because she was labelled as a curly hair guru...just what i needed. she totally knows curly hair and it was a trip to watch her do her magic on this tired, boring hair. she also did the perfect color and dried my hair in the most interesting way i have ever seen. i loved the experience and am so happy i finally found a place that makes me excited for my next visit. she never left me and did all of the servicing herself. i felt very well taken care of and i am overjoyed to have found my new salon! i was on a mission to find a stylist that could not only create a look for me but to also give me a look that fits who i am. see im a very outgoing girl and my look was so blane that it just didnt give people the impression i wanted to give. Chistine George at Dej Salon brought the real me out. after the haircut and color she gave me i was walking around like i was a star. i never knew that a great cut by Christine would do so much for me. it honestly brought out the confidence and sassiness that i have and now everyone notices, my color is awesome she picked the perfect shade for me and the extra touch on the bangs she gave me gives the extra sense of mystery. ive never had bangs and i had no idea id look this good with them. and my haircut all together OMG! was awesome it looked great all around ive had experiences were past stylist couldnt cut straight if their lives depended on it. but Christine has Magic hands!! and eyes for the perfect cut and color!!!! point blank i love the vision Christine George had for me and i tell everyone about her. her station is always clean her tools are top notch and Christine herself is such a pleasure that i would never go to anyone else. she also does facial waxing and shes amazing at that too!!! Ani is terrific, flexible and is really in her element at Dej. She never hesitates to impress me and she always makes my hair & eyebrows look so much better. I'm not a fashion queen so for me to say this means something. If you are ever looking for someone to do you up right, go see Ani. I am so glad I met Erica, finally someone who knows how to cut my curly hair. She was recommended as the curly haircut guru. I was greeted warmly by Katie the receptionist with hot coffee and a smile. She gave me a tour of the salon the decor of Dej is chic yet comfortable with tall embossed tin ceilings and exposed brick walls. Erica spent a good amount of time talking to me about my hair, She made sure we were on the same page, then her assistant Lindsey took me back to shampoo area, and gave me a nice relaxing shampoo.
