A Really good place to learn how to drive 7/18/2015

Defensive Driving School has been a good experience and it's really a good program. During your drives the staff's very calm and they guide you and they don't get mad at all. They actually help you succeed and their technique of commentary is really helpful. more

Defensive Driving Class 7/14/2015

Gayan was a riot but at first intimidating. He was friendly, smart, engaging and consistent with his teaching both in the classroom and in the car. Two hour classes went by fast and were enjoyable. My son said he was funny and a great teacher who told you if you were great and also if you were horrible at a certain lesson. We would recommend this school to our friends. more

Absolutely horrible 7/8/2015

This is the worst experience my child could have had. The West Seattle location absolutely sucks with the exception of one driving instructor James Charvet and the Port Orchard location. They are almost impossible to contact the schedule agent website is horrible. Every time you turn around you get conflicting information or no information and it costs a ton of money. DO NOT go there. RESPONSE FROM Defensive Driving School: Marcia, we regret that you are unhappy with the driving lessons that we provided for Michalia. I see we spoke to you on several occasions about making up missed classes and tests as well as scheduling (including coordinating a quicker drive test in Port Orchard). Again, we're sorry we didn't meet your expectations. more

Late to scheduled appointments, failed to report results to DOL in a timely manner, unhelpful employees 6/29/2015

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, use a competitor like Xcelerate Driving School. The instructor was late to the appointment, and then failed to report my results to the DOL. I only found this out after waiting at the DOL for a few hours. When calling to rectify the issue, the receptionist was not helpful, and days later they have still not reported to the results to the DOL. RESPONSE FROM Defensive Driving School: Joe, I am very sorry that your score was not recorded within 24 hours as it should have been. While we were able to get the score posted yesterday (the same day you brought the missing score to our attention), I know you've been inconvenienced and we sincerely regret this. more

Excellent Instructor 5/12/2015

I went to Issaquah,WA location to learn driving skills & my instructor was Mr. Isaac Kim who is a very knowledgeable person with lots of patience. I have never drove a car in my life and it was the first time when I was learning driving & honestly it was one of the best experience I had. Mr. Kim not only motivated me but also build my confidence level and because of his knowledge and patience I was finally able to clear my driving test. Mr. Kim always keep asking questions related to driving skills and that really helped me to understand all the driving rules which we follow in US very easily.I would highly recommend Defensive Driving School and specially Mr. Isaac Kim as your instructor to learn driving if you are new in USA or never drove a car. Mr. Kim is very understandable and really understand the person from where they are coming from.Thank you Mr. Isaac Kim for teaching me how to drive safely. more

Greatest course in town 5/7/2015

The woodinville DDS was a very helpful and cooperative course. Anna taught with a smooth and confident style. She was able to answer most questions and explain the class material with deep understanding. With her the course flowed by and all of the material stayed with me. more

Defensive Driving School is a awesome place to go to learn driving 4/21/2015

I'm a teenage driver, and I'm so glad that I choose Defensive Driving School. I met Mr. Kim at March, he is a very nice guy, when you listen in his class, you will never get bored, never! Although he told a lot of jokes but he will never be lazy on his teaching, I'm a international student, English is my second language, will Mr. Kim's help, I actually didn't feel much stress about the book we are reading, he explained very detaily and you can learned very happy in his class! more

I took a driving classes at Defensive Driving School. This is a super, amazing service on a front desk and teachers are really good, they have a great attitude and manners. Stuff is friendly, smiling, absolutely organized, scheduling is perfect. Classes are always in time. My teacher -Carol is a special person. She is a very high professional driving teacher. She is always calm, confident, with super reaction on the road and as a result I felt confident on the road. She explains stuff using different ways, so there is no way don't get it. It was a pleasure to study here. I highly recommend this school and sure theirs other schools are also perfect, as this one. more

We tried to apply in different places. All of them had different minuses. Best Driving School Ever!!!! 12/13/2014

The instructors are very calm and want you to succeed. Mr.Kim made drivers education very fun. But most importantly, informative. After talking this class i feel prepared and ready for the real world. At first I was unsure about my self but Mr. Kim gave me that confidence to be comfortable with driving.
