My aunt has been a faithful customer to Debbies so about a year and a half ago I tried them out. My dog is very laid back, and calm, everywhere else I took him they just raved about how amazing he was to groom. So I took him to Debbies because the price they quoted me was cheaper than Petsmart, and money was a little tight. When I picked him up he had cuts all over his body and they charged me $10 more than what they had quoted me with no real reason why. I wasn't going to fight it I just took my dog and vowed to never go back. \r

Recently I adopted another dog and he needed to get groomed as well. I figured I would try and give them another chance just because again money was tight (I am a full time student) and my aunt still raved about their service. When I picked up my dog not only was his haircut uneven, a very large bleeding cut right about his eye, and large cuts everywhere else, but again they charged me $10 extra because he was ""difficult"" and didn't like his feet touched. For days following it he was overly lathargic and loopy. He was acting like he was drugged and even my friends and family commented on his odd behavior. Within a week my aunt went to them and they hyper-extended her dogs arm from pulling on her paw. This all is in addition to their arrogant and standoffish demeanor. \r

I will never go back and I recommend no one else goes as well. If you do beware, they are known for not only cutting hair but skin as well, charging more than was quoted, hurting your animals and even possibly drugging them.
