I drove over 200 miles August 2016 to buy my first Volvo, the salesman(George "Country" Hobbs) and the finance guy(Deigo) made sure I was completely satisfied, and I was. I had no idea, a year later, I would in the market of purchasing a vehicle. No the car was in excellent condition, the car was totaled. I tried to purchase a new Volvo here in Louisiana, that just didn't work. The service and selection was horrible. So I called George and told him I was in the market for a new Volvo and he begin sending me options. I flew in on Tuesday morning, George picked me up from the airport and the search began. George and I meet with Demetrius (Volvo Mgr.) he told me what he had and gave me some options. I test drove one and realize that was not what I wanted. So I walked around the Volvo fleece and found the one that I wanted. We negotiated a price and it was off to meet Deigo. I am extreme thankful for George Hobbs, Demetrius Joseph, and Deigo they put the service in customer service. I will recommend DeMontrond Motors to all my family and my friends. We traveled to the Gulf Freeway location to look at several pre-owned models for my mother. The showroom was busy, however since we called ahead they had already pulled the two vehicles we were interested in around to the front and we were able to explore them at our leisure. The sales staff were extremely helpful, in particular Lance was friendly and checked on us consistently even though he was also working with other customers. We made the decision to purchase the car for my mom and the process was very smooth from there. We got a great deal on our trade-in and the overall price of the vehicle was excellent for the value we received. The Trailblazer is in great shape and was cleaned and detailed while we waited. I would definitely recommend checking out the website if you are interested in pre-owned or new before visiting, it really helped us make the choice easier. I just had to share. Very happy and with my recent car buying experience at Demondtrond Kia in Houston. I purchased a 2007 Hyundai Tucson through the internet sales department. In most part to the salesman Kevin Thieleman. The inquiry that I made was immediately resonded to with answers to my questions concerning my potential purchase. I don't usually enjoy car shopping, but have learned that internet shopping really suits me and my personality. I have emailed and spoken to many sales people at various car dealers and some very nice, but not everyone was as easy to work with and as accomodating to my many emails as Kevin was. The car was exactly as it was shown. As I told Kevin, an experience like this one will definitely keep me coming back for my car buying needs. DeMontrond carries a ton of different car, trucks, and SUV's from a variety of car manufacturers including Volvo, VW, Hummer and Kia. The problem is that there lot and show rooms are so old and small that it is hard to feel comfortable when you are trying to make a deal there. They are willing to give you a good deal just like all of the other big dealers around and that is really all that matters in the long run! more
