Avoid at all costs 12/23/2016

Avoid Bill Dehaven, DeHaven Decorating and Alberhaven Services its all the same person. I have know Bill for many years and recently helped him out by pre paying for a small job, now 3 months later the job isn't done and he will get me the money "when he can". If there was an option for less than 1 star Inwould have chosen it more

Started the job, but never finished. 11/13/2015

I would not advise anyone to ever hire Bill DeHaven. I paid him half the amount for a deposit. He did one days work. He told me numerous times that he would complete the work. It's been over a year now. Also, he stored all his equipment in my backyard for the winter for colateral and retrieved it without telling me. My house was partially painted and 5 different colors that whole time. more

absolutely ridiculous 11/30/2014

Dehaven Decorating is more or less a charity "business". He may do a decent job up front with an easy job, but that's only to get his foot in the door. I'm still trying to get him to pay me my agreed upon refund due to him quitting a job. He spent my deposit on another project (or personal use) and has been giving me empty promises for the last 2 months. STAY AWAY!!! more

Don't waste your time with DeHaven Decorating!!! 7/27/2012

Bill DeHaven is the worst person when it comes to being reliable. He will tell you a date when he is going to start your job, and then the night before he will have his " assistant" aka girlfriend call you and say that he won't be able to make it. Don't bother trying to call him to reschedule because he won't answer or return your call. Horrible business practice and a man that should never be allowed to walk into anyone's home. Please don't hire this man!!!!! more
