De Kroon is under new ownership and it is so exciting to see all the great changes everytime I visit. The stylists are the best of the best!!! If you get your hair colored, you must see Deb! She is so talented and fun to talk to! Everytime I go in, the entire staff makes me feel right at home. De Kroon also supports local artists by displaying artwork, which changes periodically. I have thin hair and years ago, a stylist told me ""you could never grow your hair long."" Jodi has been cutting and coloring my hair since then and it's halfway down my back and looks georgous! Her creativity and all around knowledge of hairstyling is an incredible combination. Now my mother, boyfriend and many of my friends can't live without Jodi and her scissors. She gives the best haircuts to meet each individual's needs...She's also extremely funny and easy to talk to while sitting in her chair. I give her five stars for a top notch haircut and color! more

Hands down, best highlights I've ever had--totally natural and appropriate to my skin tone. Also, my cut was so good that I went back a month later for another, just to change up the style. I felt like I was in completely trustworthy hands and just let Gib do whatever he wanted. Furthermore, when I left the salon, each time I've loved the way my hair looked, and that's a first (normally I just expect that I'll have to go home and re-do it later). As far as the salon itself is concerned, the two receptionists that I've encountered were warm, welcoming, and patient (I ran late to my first appointmen)t. Granted the building in which the salon is located is old, but that's part of De Kroon's charm. It has sort of a boutique-y vintage feel. Overall, best money I've spent on my hair.
